Defconn (rapper)
Yoo Dae-joon (; January 6, 1977), known by his stage name Defconn, is a South Korean rapper and television personality. Biography 2004 In 2004, Defconn received the Korean Music Award for "Best Hip-Hop Album". His songs are mostly comical, sometimes involving lyrics about sexual attraction and wishing for more popularity. One song of his, though, centered on the Yangju highway incident in which two South Korean girls lost their lives to an American military tank, which sparked anti-American sentiment in South Korea at the time. He is one of the better known underground rappers in South Korea due to his parallel career as an MC. 2011–present In 2011, he became the host of MBC Every1's ''Weekly Idol'' alongside entertainer and comedian Jeong Hyeong-don, a show which was extended from an original six episode special to a weekly show that continues today. Jeonju
Jeonju () is the 16th largest city in South Korea and the capital of North Jeolla Province. ''Happy Sunday'' ( ko, 해피 선데이) is a Korean reality show, reality-variety show shown on the KBS2 network, which competes directly against Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, MBC's ''Sunday Night (South Korean TV series), Sunday Night'' and Seoul Broadcasting System, SBS's ''Good Sunday'' line-up. Although it has been broadcast since 2003, its line-up of shows has frequently changed, with a complete revamp occurring in Spring of 2007. ''Hyung-don and Dae-joon's Hitmaker'' () is a 2014 South Korean variety television series presented by South Korean producer duo Jeong Hyeong-don and Defconn. It first aired on MBC Every1 on Tuesday at 6:00 pm KST beginning July 29, 2014. It ran for two seasons in 2014 and 2015, documenting the formation and debut processes of their first boy group Big Byung ( ko, 빅병) and their first girl group Chamsonyeo ( ko, 참소녀). Drunken Tiger
Drunken Tiger () was a Korean hip hop group that debuted in 1999 and has since released several albums and won numerous awards. They are known as pioneers of Korean hip-hop who helped bring the genre into the mainstream. The group's original line-up consisted of central member Tiger JK, as well as DJ Shine. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010.
