Death Of John Carthy
John Carthy (9 October 1972 – 20 April 2000) was a 27-year-old Irish citizen with known Mental disorder, psychiatric illnesses who was shot dead by the Garda Emergency Response Unit in controversial circumstances on 20 April 2000, after a twenty-five-hour siege at his home in Toneymore, Abbeylara, County Longford. Background John Carthy, born 9 October 1972, was the only son of John and Rose Carthy. He had one sister, Marie, who was two years his junior. Harcourt Street is a street located in Dublin City, Ireland. Location It is a little over in length with its northerly start at the south-east corner of St Stephen's Green and terminates in the south at the point where Adelaide road becomes Harcourt Road, near Harcourt Terrace. Seán Ardagh
Seán Ardagh (25 November 1947 – 17 May 2016) was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South-Central constituency from 1997 to 2011. A chartered accountant by profession, Ardagh obtained his qualification in Canada in the 1970s and returned to Ireland to practice. Patrick Finucane (; 21 March 1949 – 12 February 1989) was an Irish lawyer who specialised in criminal defence work.
