"Crack Addict" is a song by Limp Bizkit written and recorded in 2002, and produced by Al Jourgensen. The song samples Spoonie Gee's 1979 single, "Spoonin' Rap". Production While working with Limp Bizkit, Al Jourgensen claims that he convinced Fred Durst to strip naked and wear a cowboy hat while singing. Jourgensen recalls, "I got paid to just humiliate him for three songs. It was awesome." Legacy On March 7, 2003, Limp Bizkit announced they would be performing live for the first time in two years, at the WWE event, WrestleMania XIX on March 30, 2003. Mike Smith (born October 11, 1973) is a musician, best known as the former guitarist of Snot, TheStart, and Limp Bizkit. Brian Philip Welch (born June 19, 1970), also known by his stage name Head, is an American musician. He is one of the guitarists and founding member of the nu metal band Korn and his solo project Love and Death, where he also provides vocals. Along with fellow Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer, Welch helped develop Korn's distinctive sound (a mix of sirenlike shards of dissonant guitar that mimicked a turntablist's various effects and rumbling down-tuned riffing) that defined the nu metal aesthetic beginning in the mid-'90s. Gabriel Jackson (born May 27, 1963), better known by his stage name Spoonie Gee, is one of the earliest rap artists, and one of the few to have released rap records in the 1970s.
