''Brainchild'' is the second studio album by the industrial metal band Circle of Dust, released in 1994 through R.E.X. Music and re-released as a remaster in 2016 through FiXT Music. Overview Brainchild was originally a side project between Klayton and Doug Mann. Their album, ''Mindwarp'', was released on R.E.X. Music in 1992. R.E.X. wanted Klayton to make a second Circle of Dust album, but there wasn't enough money to make another album, so R.E.X. re-released the album as the second Circle of Dust album, ''Brainchild''. The same cover artwork and layout was used for both albums, with only the Album Artist ("Brainchild" to "Circle of Dust") and Album Title (''Mindwarp'' to ''Brainchild'') changed. Three of tracks are different from the original ''Mindwarp'' versions. The original recording of "Deviate" was replaced with the 'Sawed-Off Shotgun Edit' version from Metamorphosis. Circle of Dust is an industrial music project from New York City created by Klayton, who later became known as Celldweller. The project was active from 1988 to 1998 and then re-started in 2015 after Klayton gained back ownership of his old albums. The project has released five studio albums: ''Circle of Dust'' (1992), ''Brainchild'' (1994), a re-recording of ''Circle of Dust'' (1995), '' Disengage'' (1998), and '' Machines of Our Disgrace'' (2016). Brainchild (band)
Brainchild was a Youngstown, Ohio-based supergroup formed in 1969. Original members consisted of vocalist Joe Pizzulo, guitarist Larry Paxton, bassist Bill Bodine, drummer John Grazier, and keyboardists Ronny Lee and Danny Marshall. Later members were vocalist/drummer Dave Freeland, and vocalist "Odie" Crook. They disbanded at the end of 1972. Keyboardist Ronny Lee would later join another group from Youngstown called Law, who would become the opening act for The Who. The Savage Land Mutates is a supervillain group of criminals appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Their creators were writer Roy Thomas and the penciler/inker team of Neal Adams and Tom Palmer. Within the comic books, the group is based in the imaginary place called the Savage Land, which is a hidden Antarctic environment of dinosaurs and primitive humans within Marvel Comics' fictional Marvel Universe. Andrew Neiderman (born October 26, 1940) is a best-selling American novelist. In 1987, he became the ghost writer for V. C. Andrews following her death in 1986. He formerly taught English at Fallsburg Jr./Sr. High School, in upstate New York. Neiderman is arguably best known as the author of ''The Devil's Advocate'', later adapted into a film starring Keanu Reeves, Al Pacino, and Charlize Theron, and directed by Taylor Hackford. Neiderman also adapted the novel ''Rain'' into a film, based on a series of novels released under Andrews's name. Neiderman wrote the stage adaptation of ''Flowers in the Attic'' based on the novel by V.C. Andrews, published online in 2014.
