Heydar Aliyev International Airport ( az, Heydar Aliyev adına Beynəlxalq Hava Limanı) (IATA: GYD, ICAO: UBBB) is one of the seven international airports serving Azerbaijan. Formerly, it was called Bina International Airport after a suburb of Baku. On 10 March 2004, the airport was renamed after president Heydar Aliyev. The airport is 20 kilometers northeast of Azerbaijan capital Baku, connected to the city by a highway. The airport serves as the hub for national carriers Azerbaijan Airlines and Buta Airways. Facilities Terminals The airport consists of two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 being the newer one, and two cargo terminals. Terminal 1 Terminal 1 was commissioned in April 2014. Bak File
In computing, ".bak" is a filename extension commonly used to signify a backup, backup copy of a computer file, file. When a program is about to overwrite an existing file (for example, when the user saves the document they are working on), the program may first make a copy of the existing file, with .bak appended to the filename. This common .bak naming scheme makes it possible to retrieve the original contents of the file in case of a failed write that corrupts the file, which could be caused by an Crash (computing), operating system crash, power outage, or disk space exhaustion. Without the backup file, an unsuccessful write event may truncate a file, meaning it cuts off the file at a position, or leaves a blank file. In practice, this could cause a written document to become incomplete or get lost, a multimedia project file (e.g. from a video editor) to become unparseable, and user preferences being reset to default. Stéphane Bak (born 19 September 1996) is a Franco-Congolese actor and comedian. He was showcased as "The youngest comedian in France," in 2012. As an actor his most notable film roles include Christopher Barratier's '' Team Spirit'', David Moreau's ''Alone'', and Paul Verhoeven’s award-winning '' Elle''. More recently, Bak has starred in André Téchiné’s ''Farewell to the Night'' and Joël Karekezi’s ''The Mercy of the Jungle''. Early life Bak was born in Le Blanc-Mesnil, Seine-Saint-Denis. Bak is of Congolese origin; his father is a delivery driver and his mother is a receptionist, and he has four brothers and sisters. Samuel Bak
Samuel Bak ( he, שמואל בק; born 12 August 1933) is a Lithuanian-American painter and writer who survived the Holocaust and immigrated to Israel in 1948. Since 1993, he has lived in the United States. Biography Samuel Bak was born in Wilno (Vilnius), Second Polish Republic, on August 12, 1933. Bak was recognized from an early age as having artistic talent. He describes his family as secular, but proud of their Jewish identity. By 1939, when Bak was six years old, World War II began, and the city of Vilnius was transferred from Poland to Lithuania. When Vilnius was occupied by the Germans on June 24, 1941, Bak and his family were forced to move into the ghetto. At the age of nine, he held his first exhibition inside the ghetto. Bak and his mother sought refuge in a Benedictine convent where a Catholic nun named Maria Mikulska tried to help them. Biking Across Kansas
Biking Across Kansas (BAK) is an annual recreational and social rally for bicyclists across the state of Kansas, United States. The first Biking Across Kansas took place in June 1975 and has been held annually each year since. The route varies and has traversed all 105 counties of the state. More than 800 bicyclists from Kansas and other states participate each year. The event was founded and organized by Larry and Norma Christie from 1975 through 2001. Charlie Summers served as organizer in 2002 through 2012. In 2013, Biking Across Kansas became a 501c3 non-profit organization, overseen by a board of directors working with an executive director. Jacek Bąk
Jacek Waldemar Bąk (; born 24 March 1973) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Other than his country, he competed in France, Qatar and Austria, notably appearing in more than 150 competitive games for Lyon and contributing to win the 2002 national championship. Bąk represented Poland for 15 years, appearing for the nation in two World Cups and Euro 2008. Since 2004 he is a French citizen. Club career Born in Lublin, Bąk made his senior debuts with local Motor Lublin aged just 16, moving to Lech Poznań two years later. In the 1992–93 season, he contributed with 28 games to help the latter club win its third national championship in four years. Bäk District ( ps, باک ولسوالۍ, fa, ولسوالی باک) is situated in the northern part of Khost Province, Afghanistan. It borders Tere Zayi District to the south, Sabari District to the west, Zazi Maydan District to the north, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan to the east. According to Afghanistan's National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA), the 2020 estimated population of the district was 24,977 people. Thomas Tadeus Bak is a German visual artist, art director, writer and composer, mainly known for his work in photography. Biography Bak was born on April 20, 1978 in Szczecin, Northern Poland. In 1981 his parents emigrated over Denmark to the Federal Republic of Germany and settled in Bremen in 1983. He was entitled as "Germany’s Youngest Draughtsman" at the age of eleven due to his first publication in a German graphic magazine for mature readers and elected twice as the "Official Graphic Designer of the Hochschule fuer Kuenste Bremen" during his studies of Book/Graphic Design and Photography at this university. ''Betrayal at Krondor'' is an MS-DOS-based role-playing video game developed by Dynamix and released by Sierra Entertainment, Sierra On-Line in the summer of 1993 in video gaming, 1993. ''Betrayal at Krondor'' takes place largely in Midkemia, the fantasy literature, fantasy world developed by Raymond E. Feist in his ''Riftwar'' novels.
