Attleborough is a market town and civil parish located on the A11 between Norwich and Thetford in Norfolk, England. The parish is in the district of Breckland and has an area of . The 2001 Census recorded the town as having a population of 9,702 distributed between 4,185 households, increasing to a population of 10,482 in 4,481 households in the 2011 Census. Alexander George Atty (December 8, 1916 – May 3, 1973) was an American football offensive lineman in the National Football League for the Cleveland Rams. He played one season in 1939, and was drafted out of West Virginia in 1939. He is also listed on the all-time roster of the Detroit Lions as a guard in 1941. He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
