Torcy () is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the eastern suburbs of Paris, from the center of Paris. Torcy is a sub-prefecture of the department and the seat of an ''arrondissement''. The commune of Torcy is part of the Val Maubuée sector, one of the four sectors in the "new town" of Marne-la-Vallée. Transport Torcy is served by Torcy station on Paris RER line A. Demographics Inhabitants of Torcy are called ''Torcéens''. The suburbanization and affluence of the Vietnamese population in France has resulted in a demographic shift in Torcy since the 1980s. Vietnamese businesses and community organizations have been established in Torcy, and the commune, along with nearby Ivry-sur-Seine, contains one of the highest concentrations of Vietnamese people in France at 10% to 20% of the population.

Croissy-Beaubourg () is a French commune located in the Seine-et-Marne ''département'', in the ÃŽle-de-France ''région''. Geography The village is located 3 km in the South of Torcy. It's around 1 163 ha amongst which 600 are from forests. Hydrography There is one river in the village, the channel No. 1 on the village of Pontcarré (2.2 km length) which merge with the Morbras. It passes on Croissy-Beaubourg on a distance of 0.02 km. There are several ponds in the village among which two older stanks, the Croissy one and the Beaubourg one. They were probably created during 17th century for the castle. It's here that starts the Maubuée, a Marne's affluent. Coupvray () is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. People Coupvray was the birthplace and home of Louis Braille. Braille's home is now a museum. Braille's hands are buried in Coupvray as a symbol of Louis’ system of touch reading, the rest of his body is buried in the Panthéon, Paris. Conches-sur-Gondoire
Conches-sur-Gondoire () is a commune on the Gondoire river in Brie, in the Seine-et-Marne department in the ÃŽle-de-France region in north-central France. It is roughly from Paris. Its remarkable sights include a monastery church of the 12th century, and a Second Empire castle. Until 1993, Conches-sur-Gondoire was simply called Conches. The name of the river was added to distinguish it from Conches-en-Ouche in Normandy ( Eure county). History During the middle-ages, Conches-sur-Gondoire consisted of a monastery located on the top of a slope, but during the so-called "Wars of Religion" of the 16th century, the closter and the conventual buildings were destroyed by a troop of Protestant soldiers. Nowadays remain the church (13th century), a Gothic cellar with column and capital, a square pond faced with stones, tombs and peasant cottages.
