Andreas Arén (born 28 November 1985) is a Swedish ski jumper who has competed since 2003. Born in Falun, Aren made his debut during the Ski Jumping World Cup meeting in Lahti. He finished in the 67th position and he didn't gain a single point. In the next season he didn't participate in the World Cup. In the next year he participated in Continental Cup. In February he reached a second position in the Swedish Championship. During the Summer Grand Prix season his best performance was a 47th position in Kranj, on August 24, 2006. He also started in Oberhof, on October 3 but he was disqualified. Aren Davoudi Chegani (; hy, Արեն Դավուդի, born July 12, 1986) is a professional Iranian basketball player of Armenian descent who currently plays for Hamyari Shahrdari of the Iranian Super League and also for the Iranian national basketball team. Aren Maeir (born 1958) is an American-born Israeli archaeologist and professor at Bar Ilan University. He is director of the Tell es-Safi/Gath Archaeological Project. Biography Aren Maeir was born in Rochester, New York, United States. He immigrated to Israel in 1969 and has lived there since. Following his service in the Israel Defense Forces (where he reached the rank of captain), he did his undergraduate and graduate studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (PhD 1997 summa cum laude), and did a post-doctorate (2002-2003) at the (now defunct) Dibner Institute for the History of Science and Technology at MIT. He has been teaching at Bar-Ilan University since 1992. Sadun Aren (19 March 1922 – 8 March 2008) was a Turkish academic and politician. He was one of the cofounders of Workers' Party of Turkey and of the leading figures of socialist movement in Turkey. Early life and education Aren was born on 19 March 1922 in Erzurum. His father was a civil servant, and his mother was a housewife who died when Sadun Aren was a child. Due to his father's frequent appointments he completed his primary and secondary education in different cities, including Eskişehir, Ankara and Istanbul. He graduated from Ankara University's Faculty of Political Science in 1944. He held a PhD which he received from the same university. Aren, Pyrénées-Atlantiques
Aren is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of south-western France. It is part of the urban area (''aire d'attraction des villes'') of Oloron-Sainte-Marie. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Arenais'' or ''Arenaises''. Geography Aren is located some 14 km north-west of Oloron-Sainte-Marie immediately south of Saucède. The commune is divided into two portions - the eastern portion contains the village and is bordered in the north and east by the Gave d'Oloron. This portion is connected to the western part located to the west of the Joos river by the D325 road (which is part of the commune). Access to the commune is by the D936 road which crosses the "neck" of the commune and connects to the D325 road which goes east to the village.
