Area Code 425
Area code 425 is a telephone dialing code in Washington for the suburbs north and east of Seattle, particularly the Eastside, extending east to North Bend, north to Everett, and south to Maple Valley. It includes the city of Bellevue, Seattle's largest suburb. The area code went into service on April 27, 1997, as part of a three-way split of area code 206 (the other of the three is 253). April 27, 1997, through November 15, 1997, was a "transition period" for the new code. 425 became mandatory on Sunday, November 16, 1997. Culture In the lead-up to the switchover, John Keister, on his television comedy show ''Almost Live!'', lampooned the fact that Renton wanted to join the 425 area code in order to be associated with the relatively wealthy Eastside, which includes Bellevue. Jay Park ( Korean name: Park Jae-beom (Hangul: 박재범; Hanja: 朴載範); born April 25, 1987) is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer and entrepreneur of based in South Korea. Lake Stevens, Washington
Lake Stevens is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States, that is named for the lake it surrounds. It is located east of Everett and borders the cities of Marysville to the northwest and Snohomish to the south. The city's population was 28,069 at the 2010 census, but has since grown to an estimated 33,911. The lake was named in 1859 for territorial governor Isaac Stevens and was originally home to the Skykomish in the Pilchuck River basin. The first modern settlement on Lake Stevens was founded at the northeastern corner of the lake in 1889. It was later sold to the Rucker Brothers, who opened a sawmill in 1907 that spurred early growth in the area, but closed in 1925 after the second of two major fires. Kirkland is a city in King County, Washington, United States. Kenmore is a city in King County, Washington, United States, along the northernmost shore of Lake Washington. Fall City, Washington
Fall City is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States, east of Seattle. The community lies along the Snoqualmie River and Raging River. The population was 1,993 at the 2010 census. History The first settlements in the area were two forts built in 1856 during the Puget Sound War to protect future settlers against possible uprisings by the native population. Fort Patterson, a few miles downstream, and Fort Tilton, a few miles upstream, were built with the help of Indians led by Chief Patkanim, and both were abandoned within two years after interactions with the local tribes remained peaceful. A historical marker can be found north of Fall City on the Fish Hatchery Road where Fort Tilton once stood. Brier is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is bordered by Mountlake Terrace to the west, Lynnwood to the north, Bothell to the east, and Lake Forest Park to the south. The population was 6,087 at the 2010 census. History The first homestead settlers in the Brier area arrived in 1883 and were followed by loggers who had cleared most of the forestland by 1915.
