Final Battle
Final Battle is a professional wrestling event, held annually by the Ring of Honor promotion. The event was initially held in 2002, and is traditionally ROH's last show in the calendar year. The 2009 edition of the show was ROH's first internet pay-per-view, and the first ROH show to be broadcast live. The 2010 edition and the 2011 edition were also broadcast live via the internet. Between 2006 and 2014, every event was held at either the Grand Ballroom or the Hammerstein Ballroom of the Manhattan Center in New York City. Final Battle has since become Ring of Honor's premiere flagship event, similar to WWE's WrestleMania. ''The Final Battle'' is a fantasy adventure video game published by Personal Software Services for the Amiga and Atari ST in November 1990. The game was originally scheluded to be released in January 1990. An MS-DOS port was released later in 1991. It is a sequel to '' Legend of the Sword'' from 1988. Plot At the end of ''Legend of the Sword'', the evil wizard, Suzar was imprisoned in a teardrop. He has now escaped and has stolen Avar's magical artifacts: the sword and the shield. The player character from the last game, Steroff, has been imprisoned underground with his surviving party members, Cysella and Pagan. The objective is to escape from prison and retrieve the stolen items from Suzar. Gameplay The game is a mouse-driven point-and-click adventure game with role-playing elements. "The Final Battle" is a two-part story comprising the twenty-first and twenty-second episodes of the sixth season of the American fantasy drama series ''Once Upon a Time'', both of which aired on May 14, 2017. Both episodes served together as the sixth season finale. The sixth season of the American ABC fantasy-drama series ''Once Upon a Time'' was ordered on March 3, 2016. It debuted on September 25, 2016, and concluded on May 14, 2017. In January 2017, it was stated that the sixth season would end the main storyline, and for a seventh season, the series would be softly rebooted with a new storyline. Existing fictional characters introduced to the series during the season include Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, the Count of Monte Cristo, Captain Nemo, Lady Tremaine, Beowulf, Tiger Lily and the Tin Man. ''The Final Battle I'' is the fifth EP by American heavy metal band Manowar, released March 29, 2019. It is the first recording without former member Karl Logan, who was arrested a year prior. He was replaced with guitarist E. V. Martel, who first was a touring replacement following Logan's arrest. On March 22, 2019, the band announced that they would release a trilogy of EP's based upon The Final Battle World Tour. Plans for any follow-up recordings were silently canceled for unknown reasons. The first EP, ''The Final Battle I'', was released on March 29 in an exclusive pre-sale at the merchandise booth in Frankfurt and also during the European shows. It was then released on iTunes worldwide that day. The EP was digitally and physically released on May 30. Sly And Robbie
Sly and Robbie were a prolific Jamaican rhythm section and production duo, associated primarily with the reggae and dub genres. Drummer Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare teamed up in the mid-1970s after establishing themselves separately in Jamaica as professional musicians. Shakespeare died in December 2021 following kidney surgery. Career 1970s: Beginnings in reggae Sly Dunbar, then drumming for Skin Flesh and Bones, and Robbie Shakespeare, playing bass and guitar with the Aggrovators, discovered they had the same ideas about music in general (both are fans of Motown, Stax Records, the Philly Sound, and country music, in addition to Jamaican record labels Studio One and Treasure Isle), and reggae production in particular. Roots Radics
The Roots Radics Band was formed in 1978 by bass player Errol "Flabba" Holt, guitarist Eric "Bingy Bunny" Lamont and drummer Lincoln "Style" Scott. They were joined by many musicians, including guitarist Noel "Sowell" Bailey, Dwight Pinkney and Steve Golding, keyboard player Wycliffe "Steelie" Johnson, Pianist Gladstone "Gladdy" Anderson and saxophonist Headley Bennett. As a combined force the Roots Radics became a well-respected studio and stage band, which dominated the sound in the first half of the 1980s. In addition to their own catalogue, they have worked with artists such as Bunny Wailer, Gregory Isaacs, Michael Prophet, Eek-A-Mouse, and Israel Vibration.
