Reign Of Terror
The Reign of Terror (french: link=no, la Terreur) was a period of the French Revolution when, following the creation of the First Republic, a series of massacres and numerous public executions took place in response to revolutionary fervour, anticlerical sentiment, and accusations of treason by the Committee of Public Safety. There is disagreement among historians over when exactly "the Terror" began. Some consider it to have begun only in 1793, giving the date as either 5 September, June or March, when the Revolutionary Tribunal came into existence. Others, however, cite the earlier time of the September Massacres in 1792, or even July 1789, when the first killing of the revolution occurred. The term "Terror" being used to describe the period was introduced by the Thermidorian Reaction who took power after the fall of Maximilien Robespierre in July 1794, to discredit Robespierre and justify their actions. ''Terror'' is a 1978 British independent supernatural horror film written by David McGillivray and directed by Norman J. Warren. It stars John Nolan and Carolyn Courage as two cousins who fall victim to a curse that a witch placed on their ancestors. Conceived as a "fun horror film" with a simple premise, ''Terror'' was shot in various locations around London and Surrey. Susumu Hirasawa
is a Japanese musician and composer. In the fifth year of elementary school, Hirasawa took up the electric guitar, inspired by the surf and instrumental rock bands he heard on the radio and on TV, later joining his junior high school's band. In 1973 he formed Mandrake, a progressive rock band that incorporated elements from heavy metal and krautrock. Being one of the few Japanese progressive rock bands of its time, Mandrake achieved little success and released no albums during its lifetime. After discovering punk rock and working on synthesizer-heavy projects, Hirasawa felt that progressive rock became just for entertainment and decided to reform the band as the electronic rock band P-Model in 1979. ''The Terror'' is the thirteenth studio album by experimental rock band the Flaming Lips, released on April 1, 2013 worldwide and April 16 in the U.S., on Warner Bros in the United States and Bella Union in the United Kingdom. Due to quick sales within a small amount of time, a second pressing was released a year later, along with their EP Sexual Beast ''Sexual Beast'' is an EP released by D'espairsRay on June 5, 2002. Brisk sales resulted in a reissue just one month after the initial pressing. While the first pressings of the album were housed in a digipak case featuring the painting The Execu .... While the first pressing came in a regular jewel case, the reissue had a special sleevecase with new artwork. Evildead is an American thrash metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1986. The band was originally composed of members of two former bands, Agent Steel and Abattoir (band), Abattoir, including guitarist Juan Garcia (guitarist), Juan Garcia, who is their only remaining original member. During their initial nine-year run, Evildead released only two studio albums: ''Annihilation of Civilization'' (1989) and ''The Underworld (album), The Underworld'' (1991).
