Eastern High School (Pekin, Indiana)
Eastern High School is a public high school located in the small, rural town of Pekin, Indiana. As part of the East Washington School Corporation, it was built in 1967 and has gone under a number of changes in the last 30 years. The most recent change was in 2003 when the school built a new football stadium, added various classrooms, and built an auditorium, among a number of things. Athletics Eastern High School's athletic teams are the Musketeers and they compete in the Mid-Southern Conference of Indiana. Eastern High School (Louisville, Kentucky)
Founded in 1950, Louisville Eastern High School is located off Old Shelbyville Road in Middletown, Kentucky, United States, a city within the merged government of Louisville, KY. With an enrollment of over 2,000 students, this school has been the pilot for education partnerships with companies such as IBM, Dell, CompTIA, Adobe, and Microsoft. History Eastern opened in 1950 on its present site in Middletown. The library was later added to the front of the school, giving the building a layout in the shape of the letter "E". The school has been part of the Jefferson County school system since before the county system aborted the old Louisville city school system. The school was co-educational from its start and was integrated long before busing was ordered in Jefferson County. In 2009, James A. Sexton, principal at Eastern for 20 years, retired. Eastern High School, established in 1844 along with its sister school Western High School, was a historic all-female, public high school located in Baltimore City, Maryland, 21218, U.S.A. Its final building, at 1101 East 33rd Street, is to the west of The Baltimore City College, also at 33rd Street, and across the street from the former site of Memorial Stadium. Lansing Eastern High School is a public, magnet high school in Lansing, Michigan as part of the Lansing School District. Eastern International Baccalaureate Magnet High School is the only high school in mid-Michigan authorized to offer students the opportunity to earn an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Eastern also has the second-largest alumni association in the United States. It was located on the city's east-side on Pennsylvania Avenue, one block north of Michigan Avenue but is now located on Marshall Street on the corner of Marshall Street and Saginaw Street. The building was connected with former Pattengill Middle School next to Sparrow Hospital. In 2007, Sparrow purchased the Pattengill property to create a parking lot. Eastern High School (EHS) is a public high school in Beaver, Pike County, in Southern Ohio. It is the only high school in the Eastern Local School District. The mascot is the Eagle and the school colors are brown and white. History The Eastern Local School District was officially formed on October 5, 1959 by a vote of the Pike County Board of Education. The district was a consolidation of the Beaver, Stockdale, and Union Local School Districts. The district covers approximately 107 square miles. Eastern Christian High School (ECHS) is a private Christian high school located in North Haledon, in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States. The high school is a part of the Eastern Christian School Association which also has a middle school (ECMS) in Wyckoff, and an elementary school (ECES) and preschool in Midland Park.
