Nobita's Wannyan Space-Time Odyssey
''Doraemon: Nobita in the Wan-Nyan Spacetime Odyssey'' is a 2004 Japanese animated science fiction disaster film, based on the 24th and very final and last volume of the same name of the ''Doraemon Long Stories'' series. Directed by Tsutomu Shibayama, the film premiered in Japan on March 6, 2004. film also marks the 25th anniversary of the Doraemon television series on TV Asahi and the 25th Doraemon feature film. It is also the very final and last Doraemon film to be a counterpart of the 1979 Doraemon anime and include the original cast. Plot An elderly dog goes to a time machine, which he plans to use to drive to the future so he can meet with "someone" who gives him a kendama. However, the machine encounters "temporal turbulence" and goes haywire and the dog is regressed back to his infant state, eventually found by a researcher cat. Doraemon (character)
is a fictional character in the Japanese manga and animated series of the same name created by Fujiko F. Fujio, the pen name of writing team Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. Doraemon is a male robotic earless cat that travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a preteen boy named Nobita. An official birth certificate for the character gives him a birth date of 3 September 2112 and lists his city of residency as Kawasaki, Kanagawa, the city where the manga was created. In 2008, Japan's Foreign Ministry appointed Doraemon the country's "anime ambassador".
