Nobita's Monstrous Underwater Castle
is a 1983 Japanese animated science fantasy film and the fourth '' Doraemon'' feature film, released on March 12, 1983, in Japan. Directed by Tsutomu Shibayama, the film is loosely based on the Western myth of Atlantis, the mythical continent of Mu and the 1980 chapter "8 Days at the Dragon King's Palace". It is the oldest Doraemon film without a remake version. Plot The film opens with the main characters arguing over where to go for their camping trip, with Nobita, Shizuka and Doraemon deciding to go to the coast while Gian and Suneo decide to go to the mountains. The plan is temporarily foiled when Nobita's mom tells him to go finish his homework, but when the Bermuda Triangle is on the news, Gian and Suneo decide the join the other three. Kōji Totani
was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan who worked at Aoni Production. On February 6, 2006, at the age of 57, he died from acute heart failure. His final appearance was the Naruto 2006 New Year one-hour special, where he voiced Hoki. Following Totani's death, his ongoing roles were taken up by other voice actors. Nobita Nobi
is a fictional character in the ''Doraemon'' anime and manga series created by Fujiko Fujio, the pen name of writing team Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. He is also the main character in The Doraemons (special version). Known as Sidney, Specky, Nobi Nobi and Noby, in some of the English localizations of the anime, Nobita is usually depicted as an academically elementary school student in Tokyo's Nerima Ward and the only child of Nobisuke and Tamako Nobi, who is perpetually looked after by the series' title character, a robotic cat from the future sent back in time by Nobita's descendant. Doraemon (character)
is a fictional character in the Japanese manga and animated series of the same name created by Fujiko F. Fujio, the pen name of writing team Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. Doraemon is a male robotic earless cat that travels back in time from the 22nd century to aid a preteen boy named Nobita. An official birth certificate for the character gives him a birth date of 3 September 2112 and lists his city of residency as Kawasaki, Kanagawa, the city where the manga was created. In 2008, Japan's Foreign Ministry appointed Doraemon the country's "anime ambassador".
