Good Move
Good Movement ( pl, Dobry Ruch, alternatively meaning Good Move) is a Polish Liberalism, liberal political party with strong libertarian leanings. It was formed on the 19th of April 2023 as a rebranded version of the Możemy, We Can party (). The new party is led by a former Kukiz'15 MP, Paweł Szramka, who has been named the national coordinator for the party. History The party was founded by Paweł Szramka in April 2023 and is based on the widely unknown political movement "We Can!" ( pl, Możemy), which was registered in January 2023 and was deregistered shortly after. Leader of the party, Paweł Szramka, entered Polish Sejm in the 2015 Polish parliamentary election as a member of the right-wing populist Kukiz'15, and then was re-elected in the 2019 Polish parliamentary election after joining centre-right Polish People's Party. The Sejm (English: , Polish: ), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (Polish: ''Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej''), is the lower house of the bicameral parliament of Poland. 2023 Polish Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections will be held in Poland in late 2023 to elect members of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland, Senate, although they can be held sooner if a snap election is called, which last occurred in Polish parliamentary election, 2007, 2007. League Of Polish Families
The League of Polish Families (Polish: ''Liga Polskich Rodzin'', LPR) is a conservative political party in Poland, with many far-right elements in the past. The party's original ideology was that of the National Democracy movement which was headed by Roman Dmowski, however in 2006 its leader Roman Giertych distanced himself from that heritage. It was represented in the Polish parliament, forming part of the cabinet of Jarosław Kaczyński until the latter dissolved in September 2007. In the 2007 parliamentary election, it failed to gain the 5% threshold required to enter the Sejm and lost all its seats, even failing to cross the 3% threshold for eligibility to receive government funding. Roman Giertych
Roman Jacek Giertych (; born 27 February 1971 in Śrem, Poland) is a Polish politician and lawyer; he was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education until August 2007. He was a member of the Sejm (the lower house of the Polish parliament) from 2001 until October 2007 and the chairman of the League of Polish Families party. Early life Roman Giertych comes from a family of Polish politicians, a son of Maciej Giertych and a grandson of Jędrzej Giertych. His uncle on his father's side is Wojciech Giertych, O.P., Theologian of the Pontifical Household and professor of theology at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, ''Angelicum'' in Rome. Law and Justice ( pl, Prawo i Sprawiedliwość , PiS) is a right-wing populist and national-conservative political party in Poland. Its chairman is Jarosław Kaczyński. It was founded in 2001 by Jarosław and Lech Kaczyński as a direct successor of the Centre Agreement after it split from the Solidarity Electoral Action (AWS). It managed to win the 2005 parliamentary and presidential elections, after which Lech became the president of Poland.
