English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. History The community may have been named after the family of an area resident named "Buck" English. English is a town in Crawford County, Indiana, United States. It has served as the county seat of Crawford County since 28 December 1893. The population was 645 at the 2010 census, making it one of Indiana's smallest county seats. The settlement was named Hartford (1839-1884) prior to its incorporation. Derek Andrew Hay (born 12 August 1964), also known by his stage name Ben English, is a British pornographic actor and the founder and owner of the adult talent agencies LA Direct Models and Miamp Direct Models. Matthew Thomas Rehwoldt (born October 7, 1987) is an American color commentator and retired professional wrestler who currently appears in Impact Wrestling where he performs under his real name. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he performed under the ring name Aiden English. English McConnell (14 May 1883 – 13 June 1928) was an Irish footballer who played for Sunderland, Chelsea and Ireland as a wing half. Club career McConnell started his footballing career with Irish side, Cliftonville in 1902 before signing for Glentoran, where he won the Irish League Championship in the 1904–05 season; he made 26 appearances while with Glentoran, scoring a single goal. McConnell then signed for English team, Sunderland, in 1905, and made his debut on 28 October, 1905, against Blackburn Rovers in a 3–0 win at Roker Park. He played for Sunderland from 1905 to 1908 and made 39 league appearances, scoring no goals. English Gardner (born April 22, 1992) is an American track and field sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter dash. Her personal best of 10.74 seconds, set in 2016, ranks her in the top ten all-time for the distance.
