__NOTOC__ ''Zëss'' (also known as ''Zëss: Le Jour du Néant'') is the fourteenth studio album by the French rock band Magma, which was released on 14 June 2019 on Christian Vander's Seventh Records. The composition dates back to the 1970s and has been performed live on several occasions (including Bobino Concert 1981, Les Voix Concert 1992, and Mythes Et Legendes Volume IV 2008) but never recorded in studio until 2018. The work was performed live in the Grande Salle Pierre Boulez of Philharmonie de Paris on 26 June 2019, celebrating 50 years of Magma. Kartëhl or Kãrtëhl is the fifteenth studio album by French progressive rock and zeuhl group Magma, released on 30 September 2022 by Seventh Records as a compact disc and three-sided double LP. The album is a collaborative work between the band members, with royalties from the track ''Dëhndë'' to benefit the French charity ''La Fondation Initiative Autisme'' for people with autism. The album was recorded by Francis Linon at the band's own UZ Studio between 7 March and 12 June 2022, and mastered by Marcus Linon at Greasy Records Studio in Paris. Background After the previous album, '' Zëss'', the subject of which is of a universe-ending apocalypse, the band members wanted to produce a brighter and more optimistic album with ''Kartëhl''. Morgan Ågren
Morgan Ågren (born 1967) is a Swedish drummer who plays with the progressive rock band Kaipa. Biography A native of Umeå, Västerbotten, Ågren was spotted as an outstanding talent at a young age as he began performing publicly at age seven, and eventually joined forces with Mats Öberg in 1981. They later formed "Zappsteetoot" together in 1984, a band internationally known for performing Frank Zappa's music. In 1988, at the age of 20, Morgan Ågren was, along with Mats Öberg, invited by Frank Zappa to do a guest performance at Zappa's Stockholm concert. Impressed by Ågren's skills, Zappa invited Ågren to the States to partake in several projects, including the 1994 Grammy Award-winning CD ''Zappa's Universe'' with Steve Vai, as well as a sold out New York performance of Zappa's classical program at Lincoln Center's Great Performers Series in Avery Fisher Hall. The Philharmonie de Paris () ( en, Paris Philharmonic) is a complex of concert halls in Paris, France. The buildings also house exhibition spaces and rehearsal rooms. The main buildings are all located in the Parc de la Villette at the northeastern edge of Paris in the 19th arrondissement. Stella Vander
Stella Vander (born Stella Zelcer, also known as Stella; 12 December 1950) is a French singer and musician. Early years Born in Paris into a family of Polish immigrants, she began writing music in the early sixties together with her uncle Maurice Chorenslup. Their songs were parodies of the Yé-yé style that was popular at the time. Stella's first EP, which included "Pourquoi pas moi", was released in November 1963, when she was twelve. In 1966, "Un air du folklore Auvergnat" ("a folk song from Auvergne", mocking Sheila's "Le Folklore Américain") increased her fame, followed by protests by the Auvergnat association—which took the lyrics seriously.
