Zupfgeigenhansel
Zupfgeigenhansel was a German folk duo, one of the most successful groups to emerge on the German folk scene in the 1970s. It consisted of Erich Schmeckenbecher and Thomas Friz. The group was named after the collection of folk songs of the same name, which was published in 1909.Kaarel Siniveer: Folk Lexikon, Rowohlt, Hamburg, 1981. p. 288 The group started playing in folk-clubs, mainly in southern Germany, in 1974. They then started appearing on the radio programme ''Liederladen'' of the Südwestfunk broadcasting station. They released their first album, ''Volkslieder I'' for the pläne record company in 1976, and later in the year their second album, ''Volkslieder II''. In 1978 they received the award of "Artists of the Year" in one of the categories of the German Phonoakademie. They disbanded in 1985. Folk Music
Folk music is a music genre that includes traditional folk music and the contemporary genre that evolved from the former during the 20th-century folk revival. Wincent Weiss (; born 21 January 1993) is a German singer, and was first known for taking part in in 2013. Career 2013–2017: ''Irgendwas gegen die Stille'' In 2013, Weiss participated in the tenth season of the German talent show ''Deutschland sucht den Superstar'', the German adaptation of the ''Idol'' franchise. After a successful audition, he became one of the top 29 contestants but failed to make it to the live shows. In 2015, German DJ duo Gestört aber GeiL and Koby Funk produced a remix of his rendition of "Unter meiner Haut", an acoustic cover of Elif Demirezer's same-titled song which Weiss had previously uploaded on YouTube. KEIN (1310 AM) is a comedy formatted radio station licensed to Great Falls, Montana, United States and serving the Great Falls area. The station is currently owned by Wayne Ferree & Creed Evans, through licensee Tiger Butte Broadcasting, Inc., and features programming from Today's Comedy. It was first licensed as KFBB in July 1922, and is Montana's oldest radio station. History KEIN was first licensed on July 11, 1922, to the F. A. Buttery & Company department store in Havre, Montana, with the sequentially issued call letters of KFBB. It made its debut broadcast on the evening of August 22, 1922. The station originally broadcast on the standard "entertainment" wavelength of 360 meters (833 kHz). In late 1928 KFBB was assigned to 1360 kHz, sharing time with KGIR (now KXTL) in Butte.
