Zuo Ci
Zuo Ci (), courtesy name Yuanfang, was a legendary personage of the late Eastern Han dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period (20 BC–280 AD) of China. Though he is known to be from Lujiang Commandery (盧江郡; around present-day Lu'an, Anhui), the years of his birth and death are unknown. It is believed that he had existed before the collapse of the Han dynasty, and it is claimed that he lived until the age of 300. He learned his magic and path to longevity from the Taoist sage Feng Heng (), and eventually passed his arts to Ge Xuan. In historical texts Zuo Ci studied atop Mount Tianzhu, practiced medicinal alchemy and nourished his vital essence by controlled breathing and Taoist sexual practices. It is said that he could live for long periods without eating. He was also learned in the Confucian classics and in astrology. Sancai Tuhui
''Sancai Tuhui'' (, ), compiled by Wang Qi () and his son Wang Siyi (), is a Chinese ''leishu'' encyclopedia, completed in 1607 and published in 1609 during the late Ming dynasty, featuring illustrations of subjects in the three worlds of heaven, earth, and humanity. The work contains a large number of posthumous and contemporary depictions of Chinese Emperors. Chu (Daoism)
''Chu'' (廚, lit. "kitchen") is a Daoist name used for various religious practices including communal ''chu'' (Kitchen) banquet rituals in Way of the Celestial Masters liturgy, the legendary ''xingchu'' (行廚, Mobile Kitchen) associated with Daoist ''xian'' ("transcendents; 'immortals'"), and ''wuchu'' (五廚, Five Kitchens) representing the '' wuzang'' (五臟, Five Viscera) in ''neidan'' meditation techniques. Terminology ''Chú'' ("kitchen; to cook; a cook") can be written with three Chinese characters 廚, 㕑, and 厨. Warriors Orochi
is a hack and slash video game for PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360, developed by Koei and Omega Force. It is a crossover of two of Koei's popular video game series, ''Dynasty Warriors'' and ''Samurai Warriors'' (specifically ''Dynasty Warriors 5'' and ''Samurai Warriors 2'') and the first title in the ''Warriors Orochi'' series. The game was released on March 21, 2007, in Japan, September 18 in North America, September 21 in Europe, September 27 in Australia and September 28 in New Zealand. The game came out for the Xbox 360 in Japan on September 13, and the European version came out on the same date as the PlayStation 2 version in the North America. Dynasty Warriors
is a series of Japanese hack and slash action video games created by Omega Force and Koei (now is Koei Tecmo). The series is a spin-off of Koei's turn-based strategy '' Romance of the Three Kingdoms'' series, based upon the Chinese novel of the same name, which is a fictionalized and exaggerated version of the Chinese historical text '' Records of the Three Kingdoms''. The first game in the series, titled '' Dynasty Warriors'' in English and ''Sangokumusō'' in Japanese, was a fighting game, a separate genre from the rest of the games in the series. Koei later created a new game as a spin-off and added the word to the beginning of the title to differentiate it from its predecessor. When the game was localized for the North American market, the name became ''Dynasty Warriors 2''. Since then, all English titles have been numbered one larger than their Japanese counterparts.
