Zuhair Ramadan
Zuhair Ramadan ( ar, زهير رمضان; 21 June 1959 – 17 November 2021) was a Syrian actor. Biography He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 1983. He became a member of the Syrian Artists Syndicate the same year. He was elected chairman of Syrian Artists Syndicate on 10 October 2014, and became a member of the People's Assembly for the 2016 session. Controversy Ramadan had a number of controversial statements and decisions after he took over the chairmanship of the syndicate in 2014, among which he dismissed several artists for failing to pay the fees. Ramadan was also considered one of the strongest supporters of the Assad government. ''Bab Al-Hara'' ( ar, باب الحارة; "The Neighbourhood's Gate") is one of the most popular television series in the Arab world, reportedly watched by millions of people in the Arab world. The series chronicles the daily happenings and family dramas in a neighborhood in Damascus, Syria in the inter-war period under French rule when the local population yearned for independence. The appeal is cross-generational, and viewers include Muslims, Christians, Druze and Jews from Arab countries, the show was a huge success in the Arab World so MBC managed to renew it for a second season. People's Assembly Of Syria
The People's Assembly ( ar, مَجْلِس الشَّعْب, ) is Syria's legislative authority. It has 250 members elected for a four-year term in 15 multi-seat constituencies. There are two main political fronts; the National Progressive Front and Popular Front for Change and Liberation. The 2012 elections, held on 7 May, resulted in a new parliament that, for the first time in four decades, is based on a multi-party system. In 1938, Fares Al-Khoury became the first Christian to be elected Speaker. In 2016 Hadiya Khalaf Abbas, Ph.D., representing Deir Ezzor since 2003, became the first woman elected to be the Speaker. Pneumonitis describes general inflammation of lung tissue. Possible causative agents include radiation therapy of the chest, exposure to medications used during chemo-therapy, the inhalation of debris (e.g., animal dander), aspiration, herbicides or fluorocarbons and some systemic diseases.
