Zozo Championship
The Zozo Championship (Japanese: ''ゾゾ・チャンピオンシップ'') is a professional golf tournament in Inzai, Chiba Prefecture, which is located in the Greater Tokyo Area of Japan. It is co-sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour and the PGA Tour and has been sponsored by ZOZO, a Japanese clothing brand, since the event's inception in 2019. History The tournament is the first event sanctioned by the PGA Tour in Japan, in a deal that will last until at least 2025. It would also be co-sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour. Tiger Woods won the inaugural event for his 82nd PGA Tour victory. This tied the all-time record set by Sam Snead. In 2020, the tournament was moved to Sherwood Country Club in Lake Sherwood, California in October, due to ongoing travel restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Justin Louis Thomas (born April 29, 1993) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and is former World Number One. The 2021 FedEx Cup Playoffs began on August 19, and concluded on September 5, 2021. 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour
The 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments organised by the Japan Golf Tour Organization. The 2020 season was originally scheduled to be played from 16 January to 6 December 2020, and comprised 25 official money events, mostly in Japan. Other than the four majors, which are played outside Japan, there was one event in Singapore and one event in South Korea; the SMBC Singapore Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, and the Shinhan Donghae Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. Most of the scheduled tournaments were cancelled during 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. Andrew Putnam
Andrew David Putnam (born January 25, 1989) is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Early years Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Putnam graduated high school in 2007 from Life Christian Academy. His older brother Michael Putnam, Michael has also played on the PGA Tour. Putnam played college golf in southern California at Pepperdine Waves, Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Malibu from 2007 to 2011. He won two tournaments and was a three time All-American.
