Zoro (band)
Zoro (stylized as ZORO) was a Japanese Visual Kei rock band formed in January 2007. Though they were originally a four-piece band for four years, as of 2011, the band is a duo consisting of vocalist Ryuuji and bassist Tatsuhi. History Vocalist Ryuuji, bassist Tatsuhi, and drummer Yuuya were previously part of a band called Soroban. After Soroban disbanded, the three went on to form the band Zoro in January 2007. Their first performance was at Liquidroom Ebisu on March 5, 2007, although they did not have a drummer. Taizo later joined Zoro in June 2007 after the disbandment of his previous band, Mouse. On December 27, 2010, at Maverick DC Group's annual concert Jack in the Box 2010, Zoro revealed that Yuuya and Taizo would be leaving the band and that the band would go on a hiatus. Zoro (drummer)
Zoro (born Daniel Donnelly, June 13, 1962) is an American drummer, mainly in the styles of rock, R&B, and hip hop. Known as 'The Minister of Groove', his feel, drive, syncopation and drumming philosophy make him one of the most well-known and respected drummers in the world today. He is notable for his foot technique, playing mostly heel-down and quickly striking and releasing the beaters from the bass drum head which contrasts with the 'planting' of other contemporary drummers. Zoro has toured and recorded with Lenny Kravitz, Bobby Brown, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, New Edition, Jody Watley, Sean Lennon, Philip Bailey, Lisa Marie Presley, and Throttle Body Motorcycle Club, among others. He has often been voted number one R&B drummer and number one clinician in Modern Drummer magazine, in addition to receiving awards from other magazines such as 'Drum!' Marc-André "Marco" Zoro Kpolo (born 27 December 1983) is an Ivorian former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Born in Abidjan, Zoro started his career in Italy, first with U.S. Salernitana 1919, without however making his Serie A debut. The next season, he played with the Campania team in the second division and, in January 2003, he joined Sicily's F.C. , also known as , is a Character (arts), fictional character in the ''One Piece'' franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. In the story, Zoro is the first crewmate to join Monkey D. Luffy's crew after he is saved (by Luffy and Koby (One Piece), Koby) from being executed at the Marine Base by Morgan (One Piece), Captain Morgan. He is the crew's combatant, and one of the two swordsmen of the Straw Hat Pirates, the other being List of One Piece characters#Brook, Brook. He also has an extremely poor sense of direction, which is a running gag throughout the whole series. Creation and conception Zoro originally used two swords instead of three. Zoro was originally planned to be part of Buggy the Clown’s pirate crew and would have been recruited by Luffy away from Buggy.
