Zoran Kalezić
Zoran Kalezić (Cyrillic: Зоран Калезић; 1 February 1950 – 4 January 2023) was a Serbian–Montenegrin singer. Early life Zoran Kalezić was born on 1 February 1950 in Danilovgrad to journalist Dragiša Kalezić and housewife Mileva. He graduated from the Administrative School in Danilovgrad, before entering into the music industry in 1969. Career and awards Kalezić was awarded 1st place at the Pop Song Festival in Montenegro in 1971, 1st place at the 1977 Ilidža Folk Music Festival, as well as numerous awards at the 1990 MESAM. Kalezić had a prolific career, organizing concerts in the Dom Sindikata building in 1983 and in the Vuk Karadžić Cultural Center in 1992. In 1993, he became President of the Association of Folk Artists of Belgrade. In September 2016, Kalezić held a concert in Belgrade's Štark Arena to commemorate the death of Toma Zdravković, fellow folk singer and Kalezić's best man who had died 25 years earlier. Danilovgrad
Danilovgrad ( cnr, Даниловград) is a town in central Montenegro. It has a population of 6,852 (2011 census). It is situated in the Danilovgrad Municipality which lies along the main route between Montenegro's two largest cities, Podgorica and Nikšić. Via villages, Danilovgrad forms part of a conurbation with Podgorica. The town of Danilovgrad is located in the fertile valley of the Zeta River, sometimes called also the Bjelopavlići plain, after the name of the local clan. Halid Bešlić
Halid Bešlić (; born 20 November 1953) is a Bosnian folk singer and musician who has been performing professionally since 1979. Bešlić's singing career was one of the most successful in Yugoslavia, and continues today throughout the entire Balkan region. Early life Bešlić was born in the Knežina village near Sokolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, while it was part of FPR Yugoslavia. His father Mujo Bešlić, a military man, died on 1 April 2016 at the age of 83 in a Sarajevo hospital. Halid, who was on tour in the United States at the time, managed to arrive to the funeral held in a village by Olovo, where Mujo had lived since the start of the Bosnian War in 1992. Career After serving a mandatory stint in the Yugoslav National Army, Bešlić moved from Knežina to Sarajevo and began performing at local restaurants. Novica Zdravković
Novica Zdravković ( sr-cyr, Новица Здравковић; 21 July 1947 – 16 June 2021) was a Serbian Folk music, folk singer. He was the younger brother of Toma Zdravković. He was married to Jelena and had a son and a daughter. Early in his career, he was known by his nickname Nole. His son is Dušan Zdravković, also a folk singer, who inherited the singing talent from his father and his uncle. Novica died on 16 June 2021, in Belgrade.
