Universal Wrestling Federation (UWF) was an American professional wrestling promotion owned by Herb Abrams from 1990 to 1996. The company aired nationally on SportsChannel America, and later on Prime Ticket and ESPN2. History Herb Abrams founded the UWF in 1990 to try to challenge Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation on a national level. He announced the promotion's formation at John Arezzi's ''Wrestling Fans Fantasy Weekend'' convention in August 1990. ''Son of Puke'' is the eighth studio album by Zoogz Rift, released in September 1987 by SST Records. Side one contains tape manipulations of music that had been previously recorded by Rift's band. The second side contains a discarded musical recording by The Transients. Rift discovered the recording and liked it so much that he decided it deserved to be officially released. It is the only known recording by the group. Lawrence Wendell Pfohl (born June 2, 1958), better known by the ring name Lex Luger, is an American retired professional wrestler, bodybuilder, and football player. In 2011 he began working with WWE on its wellness policy. He is best known for his work with Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE).
