Gama Bomb are a thrash metal band based in Northern Ireland. The band's 2009 album ''Tales from the Grave in Space'' was one of the first albums released as a free download by a band signed to a record label. History Beginnings (2002–2005) School friends Joe McGuigan and Philly Byrne formed Gama Bomb with guitarist Luke Graham in Newry in 2002. The band gained attention with their demo "The Survival Option" the same year. In 2003, they toured and released the single " The Fatal Mission". During this period Byrne often appeared on stage as a chef, priest, pirate or scientist. Gama Bomb's first tour dates outside Ireland were in 2004, supporting the punk band The Dangerfields on a tour of Scotland. 70000 Tons of Metal (officially stylized as 70000TONS OF METAL) is an annual heavy metal music festival that takes place on board a cruise ship. The event is a five-day festival, including one shore day at a select Caribbean destination. History The first 70000 Tons of Metal was held in 2011, and until 2014, 70000 Tons of Metal took place on board the cruise liner ''Majesty of the Seas''. In 2015, the festival moved to the cruise liner ''Liberty of the Seas'' and then to '' Independence of the Seas'' in 2016. From 2011 to 2014, the festival took place between Monday and Friday, and then from Thursday to Monday beginning in 2015. From 2011 to 2014, the cruise departed from PortMiami in Miami, Florida. Since 2015 the cruise departs from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The cruise sails to varying Caribbean tourist destinations and back. Send More Paramedics is an English zombie film-influenced crossover thrash band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. They are named after a line in the film ''Return of the Living Dead''. Biography The name is a reference to a line in the 1985 horror film, horror/comedy film, comedy ''Return of the Living Dead''. The band originally formed as a side project of Leeds emo band And None of Them Knew They were Robots, but have gained a higher profile than And None of Them Knew They Were Robots, who have since split up. The band played in the 1980s crossover style, described as "Zombiecore...a fusion of 80s thrash and modern hardcore punk", with lyrics about zombies and cannibalism, and were heavily influenced by zombie movies. ''Slave Zero'' is a 1999 action video game developed and published by Infogrames North America. The game was originally designed to work with Windows 95 and Windows 98. A fan following had developed a number of CD cracks in order to make the game compatible on newer systems. While this allowed the software to become playable, it still required that the owner possess the original software. The PC version uses the Ecstasy Engine. Tommo purchased the rights to the game and digitally published it through its Retroism brand in 2015. On March 25, 2014, Retroism re-released the game on GOG.com and, together with Night Dive Studios, to Steam. Enschede (; known as in the local Twents dialect) is a municipality and city in the eastern Netherlands in the province of Overijssel and in the Twente region.
