Zmiennicy
Zmiennicy (English: ''Subs'') is a Polish comedy TV series completed in 1986 and aired in 1987. Many famous Polish actors (not only comedians) appear in ''Zmiennicy''. Synopsis A young man Jacek Żytkiewicz is an employee of a fictional company WPT (the Warsaw Taxi Company) and drives a blue taxicab no. 1313 in turns with his sub Stanisław Lesiak. In an idiosyncratic accident the blue cab is destroyed and Stanisław lands in a hospital. Simultaneously a young woman, Kasia Piórecka, is a driver in a small enterprise. After an abuse attempt she resigns from a job she never liked and applies to be a taxi driver for WPT but her application is rejected due to safety concerns. At that time, the taxi driver was exclusively a male job in Poland and with several attacks on or even murders of taxi drivers it was believed that a woman might be even more prone to be attacked. This doesn't stop Kasia, and again, disguised as a man named Marian Koniuszko, she tries and becomes employed in WP ...

Stanisław Bareja
Stanisław Sylwester Bareja (5 December 1929 – 14 June 1987) was a Polish filmmaker. Some of his films (mostly comedies) have reached cult status in Poland. His most famous film is ''Teddy Bear'' (''Miś''), filmed in 1980. His last work was ''Zmiennicy'', a TV series completed in 1986 and aired in 1987. On 21 September 2006 Bareja was posthumously awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by President Lech Kaczynski and in 2005, a street in Warsaw was named after Stanislaw Bareja. Przemysław Gintrowski
Przemysław Gintrowski (21 December 1951 – 20 October 2012) was a Polish composer and musician. Gintrowski debuted in 1976 on a review of the Warsaw Riviera with the song "Epitaph for Sergei Yesenin". Shortly afterwards, in 1979, he formed a trio with Jacek Kaczmarski and Zbigniew Łapiński, and initiated a poetic programme "Mury" ("Walls"). The title song of the programme, "Mury", based on the song written by Catalan bard Lluis Llach ''L'Estaca'' – became an informal anthem of the Polish trade union Solidarity and the symbol of the fight against the regime. Other programs they created were "Raj" (Paradise) and "Museum". With the declaration of martial law in December 1981 Trio broke up – Jacek Kaczmarski remained in exile in France, and Gintrowski started his own artistic activity. Stanisława Celińska
Stanisława Celińska (born 29 April 1947 in Warsaw, Poland) is a Polish actress. For her roles she won two Polish Film Awards and was nominated three times. Krzysztof Zaleski
Krzysztof Zaleski (September 3, 1948 – October 20, 2008) was a Polish theater director and cinema actor. Zaleski was born in Świętochłowice, Poland, on September 3, 1948. He graduated from Warsaw University's Department of Polish Studies in 1971. He further completed his studies at the State Higher Theatre School in Warsaw in 1986. He received numerous awards throughout his career for his work within the Warsaw theater community. In 2007, Zaleski was awarded the Feliks’ Award for his adaptation of series of short stories originally written by Marek Nowakowski. Zaleski worked as the Director of Polish Radio Drama. Additionally, he served as the director of Director of Polish Radio 2 for the last 18 months of his life. Krzysztof Zaleski died on October 20, 2008, in Warsaw at the age of 59 after a long illness.
