Zingers is a snack cake produced and sold by Dolly Madison and Hostess, snack food brands owned by Hostess Brands. Product line Zingers come in chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry flavors. Chocolate and vanilla Zingers have a thick layer of icing on top with creamy non-dairy filling in the middle. Raspberry Zingers do not have icing on top but are instead covered in a mixture of shaved coconut and raspberry flavored syrup. Marketing A series of commercials for Zingers used the ''Peanuts'' characters, with Snoopy playing the part of the mysterious "Zinger Zapper". Zingers later introduced the Ecto-Cooler flavor in conjunction with the release of ''The Real Ghostbusters'' cartoon series. It featured a vanilla filling topped with a thick orange flavor icing. Paul Azinger
Paul William Azinger (born January 6, 1960) is an American professional golfer and TV golf He won twelve times on the PGA Tour, including one major championship, the 1993 PGA Championship. He spent almost 300 weeks in the top-10 of the Official World Golf Ranking between 1988 and 1994. Early years Azinger was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts; his father Ralph (1930–2013) was a navigator in the U.S. Air Force and later a businessman. He started in golf at age five. After Ralph retired as a lieutenant colonel in 1972, he opened a marina, and Paul spent his summer pumping gas and painting boats. Keith Jackson Zinger (born October 9, 1984) is a former American football tight end. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Viktor Aleksandrovich Zinger (russian: Ви́ктор Алекса́ндрович Зи́нгер, 29 October 1941 – 24 September 2013) was a Russian ice hockey goaltender. As a member of the Soviet national team he won gold medals at the Winter Olympics in 1968 and at the world championships in 1965–1969; on all those occasions he was a backup for Viktor Konovalenko, except for 1969. Zinger also toured Canada as a member of a Moscow Selects team that played the Canadian National team and various club teams.
