Iqbal Kashmiri
Iqbal Kashmiri (1942 Lahore – 15 November 2020) was a Lollywood film director. Kashmiri died as a result of kidney disease. Kashmiri “delivered a total of 84 films, in Urdu, Punjabi and Pashto.” Early life and career Kashmiri's father, Karim Bakhsh, ran a hotel near Delhi Darwaza, Lahore, Pakistan. His first foray in film was as an extra in the 1954 movie ''Deewar''. ''Taxi Driver'' was his first film as a director, in 1970 followed by ''Babul'' (1971) and ''Banarsi Thag'' (1973). As a young man, he was fond of movies, and was introduced to the Pakistani actor Ilyas Kashmiri who used to live in his neighborhood in Lahore. With Ilyas Kashmiri's help, he was able to play a small role in a Punjabi-language film ''Yakke Wali'' (1957). He later worked as an assistant to many veteran Pakistani film directors Amin Malik, M. Mumtaz (Pakistani Actress)
Mumtaz (born 1948) is a Pakistani film actress who worked in Urdu and Punjabi movies during the 1970s and 1980s. She is known for her lead roles in the movies ''Pyaar Ka Mausam'' (1975), '' Mohabbat Zindagi Hai'' (1975), '' Jab Jab Phool Khile'' (1975), and ''Amber'' (1978). Saifuddin Saif
Saifuddin Saif (20 July 1922 12 July 1993) was a Pakistani lyricist, poet, film producer-director, and the founder of Rehnuma Films, a film studio of 1954. He was involved in writing poems and lyrics before and after the Partition. However, most of his films written before partition remained unreleased due to political instabilities in the subcontinent. He was best known for his film Kartar Singh, and is also credited for writing lyrics for Pakistan's historical and first-ever feature film '' Teri Yaad'', which helped him to appear among the prominent writers.
