Zhang Zetong
Zhang Zetong (, born Teoh Ze Tong, 22 January 1993), is a Malaysian actor, singer and presenter based in Singapore. Career Zhang participated in Star Search 2019 of Mediacorp and won the championship. He was signed on by The Celebrity Agency (TCA) of Mediacorp after winning the contest. His debut work was ''All Around You'' as the lead actor. Zhang won his first award, Best Newcomer Award at Star Awards 2021, for his role in the drama, ''A Jungle Survivor''. In 2019, Zhang participated in Mediacorp Star Search and chose Christopher Lee as mentor. He eventually won the contest as the 1st place winner and champion. In 2020, Zhang made his television debut in meWATCH online series drama ''All Around You'' by playing a male lead role namely Chen Shiyang and a supporting role namely Zhong Jianting in Mediacorp Channel 8 drama ''A Jungle Survivor''. The 27th edition of the Star Awards, Star Awards 2022 (Chinese: 红星大奖2022) is a television award ceremony that honoured the best in Singaporean television released between January and December 2021. The Star Awards for Best Supporting Actor is an award presented annually at the Star Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1994. The category was introduced in 1995, at the 2nd Star Awards ceremony; Xie Shaoguang received the award for his role in ''Larceny of Love'' and it is given in honour of a Mediacorp actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a supporting role. Edmund Tay Kok Peng (born 27 May 1964), also known as Zheng Geping, is a Singaporean actor and executive producer managed under The Celebrity Agency. He works on the Chinese-language Channel 8. Career Zheng, a former chef and Taekwondo instructor, became a full-time actor in 1987 after completing SBC's 7th Professional Drama Performers' Training Course, and had been given mostly supporting roles. Channel 8 ( zh, 8頻道) is a Singaporean free-to-air television channel, airing in Mandarin Chinese. It was created by Television Singapura on 31 August 1963 with experimental broadcasts, before going official on 23 November that year. The channel's logo is a yellow number 8 on top of a red disc. History Channel 8 began its test transmissions on Saturday, 31 August 1963, Malaysia's national day.
