Zhang Weiwei (golfer)
Zhang Weiwei (born 15 March 1997) is a Chinese professional golfer and LPGA Tour player. She has five titles on the China LPGA Tour, including the 2019 Trust Golf Thailand LPGA Masters. Career Zhang was born in Hubei and started playing golf at 9 years old. She moved to Hainan and began playing on the China LPGA Tour (CLPGA) in 2015. In her rookie season, she was runner-up behind Babe Liu at the Zhuhai Classic, and tied for third at the Bank of Qingdao Golden Mountain Challenge. In 2017, she won her first title on the CLPGA, the Zhuhai Hengqin Phoenix Tree Building Challenge. She played on the LPGA of Japan Tour in 2017 and 2018, where her best finish was a tie for 5th at the 2018 Yamaha Ladies Open Katsuragi. She also won a title on the Japan Step Up Tour, the development circuit. She shot a hole-in-one in the third round of the 2017 Earth Mondahmin Cup. 2012 Espirito Santo Trophy
The 2012 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 27–30 September at the Gloria Golf Club, on its New Course and Old Course in Antalya, Turkey. It was the 25th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. There were a record 53 team entries, each with two or three players. Each team played two rounds at the New Course and two rounds at the Old Course. The leading teams played the fourth round at the Old Course. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. Espirito Santo Trophy
The Espirito Santo Trophy (World Women's Amateur Team Championships) is a biennial world amateur team golf championship for women organised by the International Golf Federation. The inaugural event was held in 1964. It was instituted by the French Golf Federation in an agreement with the United States Golf Association. It was planned by Lally Segard, at the time known as Vicomtesse de Saint Sauveur, from France and Mrs. Henri Prunaret from America. Segard also asked her friends Ricardo and Silvia Espirito Santo, from Portugal, to donate a trophy for the event, which they did. They had originally bought the golden cup, which had belonged to Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, for an international Portuguese event that was not played anymore.
