Zhang Ping (politician)
Zhang Ping ( Chinese: 张平; born 1 January 1946) served as chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, a prominent department within the State Council of the People's Republic of China. Prior to that, he served as deputy secretary general of the State Council from 2006 to 2008. Biography Zhang was born in Xiao County, Anhui Province in January 1946. He graduated from the Anhui School of Banking with a concentration in credit and loans in 1966. He joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in August 1979. and studied briefly at the Anhui provincial CCP school (1980–1981). After graduation, Zhang began his career in finance, working first as accountant at the Chaoxian branch of the People's Bank of China in Anhui. He rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the branch's general manager, before joining Chao County government in 1981. Ma Kai
Ma Kai (; pinyin: ''Mǎ Kǎi''; born June 1946 in Shanghai) was one of the four Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China, Vice Premiers of China (Fourth-ranked). He was formerly a State Councilor and Secretary General of the State Council of China. Biography Ma Kai was born in Jinshan District, Jinshan, Shanghai in 1946. Chao County
Chaohu () is a county-level city of Anhui Province, People's Republic of China, it is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Hefei. Situated on the northeast and southeast shores of Lake Chao, from which the city was named, Chaohu is under the administration of Hefei, the provincial capital, and is the latter's easternmost county-level division. Formerly it was a prefecture-level city, which held administration over Wuwei, Lujiang, He and Hanshan counties until it dissolved on August 22, 2011. The Anhui provincial government announced in a controversial decision that the prefecture-level city Chaohu was to be split into three parts and absorbed into neighboring cities. Wuhu () is a prefecture-level city in southeastern Anhui province, China. Xu Shaoshi (; born October 1951) is a Chinese politician, and former Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China. Xu was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in December 1974. From April 2007 to March 2013, he was Minister of Land and Resources and the party chief of the Ministry. He is also the general supervisor of national land.
