Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution)
''Zero Gravity (Rebirth and Evolution)'' is the only studio album by Italian symphonic metal band Turilli Lione Rhapsody. It was released on July 5, 2019 via Nuclear Blast. The album was funded by a crowdfunding campaign that the band had started on Indiegogo. Unlike Rhapsody of Fire albums, which feature high fantasy narratives, Zero Gravity is not a concept album and its lyrics deals with scientific, spiritual and philosophical themes. Both Lione and Turilli say that the album represents a new artistic view of the band (hence the Rebirth and Evolution subtitle), by modernizing their sound without losing the original essence of Rhapsody's music. Turilli / Lione Rhapsody
Turilli / Lione Rhapsody was an Italian symphonic metal band formed in December 2018, by former Rhapsody of Fire members Luca Turilli and Fabio Lione. The lineup also included former Rhapsody of Fire members Alex Holzwarth, Patrice Guers, and Dominique Leurquin. Prior to the band's formation, the same lineup performed under the Rhapsody moniker for the 20th Anniversary Farewell Tour, which celebrated 20 years of the original band's existence. On the same day that the band formed, the band started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to fund their only studio album. The first intention, after the end of the Rhapsody farewell tour, was to continue with the name Zero Gravity but the promoters strongly recommended that Turilli and Lione continue with the name Rhapsody. DGM (band)
DGM ("Diego, Gianfranco and Maurizio", after the founding members) is an Italian progressive metal band. Over the course of the band's history, they have had numerous line-up changes, with none of the founding members in the band's current line up and eight previous members since 1994. Amaranthe is a Swedish metal band originally known as Avalanche. The band is notable for their blend of various metal genres and having three lead vocalists. Patrice Guers (born 5 September 1969 in Annecy, Haute-Savoie, France) is the former bassist of the Italian symphonic metal band Rhapsody of Fire. He joined the band after Alessandro Lotta left the band and performed with them until 2011, when he departed with guitarist Luca Turilli to found Luca Turilli's Rhapsody. He has also worked with Patrick Rondat Patrick Rondat (born 12 October 1960) is a French guitarist. He plays instrumental heavy metal associated with diverse influences such as new-age music, progressive metal, classical music and jazz. Dominique Leurquin is a French guitarist, best known for his collaborations with Luca Turilli; he is a current member of Turilli / Lione Rhapsody, a former member of Luca Turilli's Rhapsody and Luca Turilli's Dreamquest, and a former session member of Rhapsody of Fire. Personal life On 8 October 2012 Luca Turilli's Rhapsody revealed that Leurquin seriously injured his left hand with a circular saw: "After the complicated surgery and everyone around thinking it will be difficult for Dominique to play his beloved instrument once again, the doctors spent some more optimistic words to describe the situation, speaking about a long period of rehabilitation and some major problems eventually related to the thumb only.
