Zered Bassett (born February 6, 1984) is a regular-footed professional skateboarder, living and working in New York City. Early life Born in Hyannis, Massachusetts, Bassett grew up in Chatham, Massachusetts. Skateboarding career Zered Bassett's first sponsor was Sixteen Skateboards. In 2003, Bassett appeared in the Zoo York Skateboard Company video ''City of Killers.'' In 2005, Bassett appeared in the DVS Shoes video "Skate More" and his co-directed film "Vicious Cycle" with RB Umali. Also in 2005, Bassett had the closing part of the Digital Skateboarding video titled ''Divercity'', skating to the Timbaland & Jay-Z song, ''Lobster & Shrimp''. In 2005, Bassett won Rookie of the year at The 7th Annual TransWorld SKATEboarding Awards. In 2007, Bassett starred in the RB Umali produced show: ''Firsthand'' On Fuel TV. Hyannis, Massachusetts
Hyannis is the largest of the seven villages in the town of Barnstable, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is the commercial and transportation hub of Cape Cod and was designated an urban area at the 1990 census. Because of this, many refer to Hyannis as the "Capital of the Cape". ''Holy Diver'' is the debut studio album by the American heavy metal band Dio, released in 1983. Vocalist Ronnie James Dio had just finished his first tenure in Black Sabbath, whose drummer, Vinny Appice, he took with him to put together his own band. William Strobeck (born March 17, 1978) is an American filmmaker, director, videographer, and photographer based out of New York City. Strobeck directed the skate videos: ''cherry'' (2014), ''BLESSED (''2018), ''CANDYLAND'' (2019), and ''STALLION''. (2021). Chaz Ortiz (born May 4, 1994) is an American professional skateboarder. As of 2017, he is ranked the 23rd skateboarder globally and the 13th in street skating. In 2012, he gained recognition as the youngest person to place first in the Dew Tour Championship.
