Zen Chong
Zen Chong (; born on 15 August 1978) is a Malaysian actor who is based in Singapore and contracted artiste under MediaCorp. Career Chong joined MediaCorp in 2001 after finishing third in that year's Malaysian edition of Star Search Singapore. One of his first major roles was in the 2003 sitcom ''Lobang King'' where he was cast alongside veteran artistes Chew Chor Meng, Huang Wenyong and Irene Ang as the smooth-talking employee of Huang's character. Chong is known for portraying juvenile " ah beng" characters, antiheroes and villains. He shot to fame for his role as a main antagonist in the hit period drama ''The Little Nyonya''. Although initially a replacement for Andrew Seow, he was praised for his convincing portrayal of antagonist Robert Zhang and won a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 2009 Star Awards, his first ever awards nomination. The Batu Pahat District is a district in the state of Johor, Malaysia. It lies southeast of Muar, southwest of Kluang, northwest of Pontian, south of Segamat and Tangkak District. Andrew Seow
Andrew Seow () is a Singaporean actor, celebrity, model and media personality. Seow was a model in Singapore and Asia before becoming an actor on local television. He is best known for his role as Gary Tay as the fiery tempered eldest son in the family drama series, '' Growing Up'' on MediaCorp TV Channel 5 and okto, earning him the Best Newcomer in the annual Asian Television Awards in 1996. The Quarters (2012 TV Series)
The Quarters (猪仔馆人家) is the fifth Malaysian production by MediaCorp Studios Malaysia. Filming began in September 2011 and took place in Muar, Johor, Malaysia and its rural surroundings. It is shown on weekdays at 7pm. It debuted in Singapore on 3 September 2012. The series is set during an era of samsui women, opium dens, pulled rickshaws and the laid back "kampung" lifestyle. It was also a time when waves of migrant workers and coolies from China settled in Singapore. Many of them were housed in large buildings such that as depicted by Zhu Zai House and multiple tenants would occupy a single room usually meant for one or two persons. Zhang Yaodong
Zhang Yaodong (, born Teoh Yeow Tong on 17 December 1977) is a Malaysian actor based in Singapore. Career Zhang entered the entertainment industry after finishing first runner-up in the Malaysian edition of talent-search contest Star Search in 2001. Alan Tern
Alan Tern Yoke Cher (, born 31 March 1976) is a Singaporean actor. He was a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 2001 to 2011. Career Tern was a finalist in the 2001 Star Search Singapore, and he joined MediaCorp after the competition. He made his debut in the sitcom ''My Genie'' not long after signing on and also appeared in '' The Hotel''. Darren Lim
Darren Lim (, born 30 September 1972) is a Singaporean actor and television host. He was prominently a full-time Mediacorp artiste from 1997 to 2016 but continues to film on an ad-hoc basis. ''Nanyang Siang Pau'' or ''Nanyang Business Daily'' () was founded by philanthropist-entrepreneur Tan Kah Kee on 6 September 1923 in Straits Settlements, currently published in Malaysia.
