Zee Cine Awards 2019
The Zee Cine Awards 2019 ceremony celebrated the best of Indian List of Bollywood films of 2018, Hindi-language films of 2018. The ceremony was held on 19 March 2019 at the MMDRA Ground at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai and broadcast on 31 March 2019 on Zee Cinema. The main hosts of the event were Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aaryan, while Malaika Arora and Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurana hosted a segment each. ''Padmaavat'' led the ceremony with 14 nominations, followed by ''Andhadhun'' and ''Raazi'' with 9 nominations each. ''Padmaavat'' won a leading six awards, including the award for Zee Cine Award for Best Director, Best Direction for Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The Zee Cine Award (ZCA) is an Indian awards ceremony for the Hindi film industry. They were instituted in November 1997 to award "Excellence in cinema - the democratic way". Amit Ravindernath Sharma is an Indian director and producer working predominantly as a director of television commercials. In feature films, he is best known for the 2018 film ''Badhaai Ho'', which was one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2018, having earned ₹220.34 crore ( $31 million) as of December 2018. ''Badhaai Ho'' (; ) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Sharma, Aleya Sen and Hemant Bhandari under Chrome Pictures and Vineet Jain under Junglee Pictures. Vidhu Vinod Chopra (born 5 September 1952) is an Indian film director, producer, editor, screenwriter, lyricist and actor. His well-known films as director are ''Parinda'' (1988), '' 1942: A Love Story'' (1994).
