Zeda Computers
Zeda Computers International Limited, trading as Zeda Computer Systems, was an American computer company based in Provo, Utah, and with overseas office in Nottingham. Founded in 1974, their best-selling computer was the Zeda 580, a Zilog Z80-based all-in-one microcomputer. Corporate history Zeda Computers International was founded in 1974 by John McMullen. Beginning life as a electronics research and development laboratory, with few years later the company expanded to full-time production and marketing of computer systems and electronic word processors from within its 7,000-square-foot headquarters. Expansion was hastened after the company earned a contract to design a computer terminal and a data buffer system for a computer peripheral manufacturer out of San Jose, California, in the mid-1970s. Zeda Vardzia
Zeda Vardzia ( ka, ზედა ვარძია, literally, "upper Vardzia") is an 11th-century Georgian Orthodox church, of the Theotokos, located in the Aspindza Municipality in Georgia's southern region of Samtskhe-Javakheti. The church is situated 3 km northwest of Vardzia, the medieval rock-hewn complex. The church is inscribed on the list of the Immovable Cultural Monuments of National Significance of Georgia. History The Zeda Vardzia church was constructed in the 11th century. An inscription on a basement wall stone mentions "Liparit, ''eristavt-eristavi''", probably Liparit IV, Duke of Kldekari (died ). It was home to a monastic community which was moved to a new and much larger complex of rock-cut monasteries of Vardzia in the reign of George III of Georgia (). After the Ottoman conquest of Samtskhe—the province where Zeda Vardzia was located—in the 16th century, the monastery was deserted and the church building fell in decay. Zeda Tmogvi
Zeda Tmogvi ( ka, ზედა თმოგვი) is a medieval Christian church in south Georgia, in the historical province of Javakheti (now part of Aspindza Municipality). The extant building is a three- nave basilica, built in the reign of Bagrat IV of Georgia (1027–1072) on the place of an earlier church. Its façades contain several contemporaneous Georgian inscriptions, which make mention of historical persons of that time. The church is inscribed on the list of the Immovable Cultural Monuments of National Significance of Georgia. Location Zeda Tmogvi, that is, "upper Tmogvi", is located on a high mountain plateau between the Tmogvi fortress and Vardzia cave complex, some 3 km north of the latter. The Zeda Tmogvi church stands in the middle of a settlement, which was left to ruin and decay after the deportation of local Muslim villagers by the Soviet Union in 1944. Zeda Sakara
Zeda Sakara ( ka, ზედა საქარა) is a community in the west of Georgia (country), Georgia, about 40 km to the southeast of Kutaisi at an elevation of about 264 m, in the Zestaponi District. The village is about 1 km to the east of Kveda Sakara. The psychologist and philosopher Dimitri Uznadze was born in this village in 1886. The Sakara Testing Station of Horticulture, established in 1932, had many varieties of apples and pears. There are also many varieties of local Georgian grapevine. The Sakara Viticulture and Winemaking Scientific-Research Station plays an important role in developing viticulture in the Zestafoni Region. Monte Zeda
The Monte Zeda is a mountain in the Lepontine Alps belonging to the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola (Italy). Geography The mountain is located in Piedmont (Provincia del Verbano-Cusio-Ossola), between two Alpine valleys: Val Grande and Val Cannobina. Its summit is a tripoint at which the borders of the municipalities of Miazzina, Aurano and Valle Cannobina meet. Along with Cima della Laurasca is the highest summit of the surrounding area. Julia Ho (born July 1, 1987) is an American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist, better known by her ring name Zeda Zhang.
