Zbigniew Baranowski (born 2 July 1991 in Białogard) is a Polish wrestler who competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He took silver at the 2016 Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov international wrestling tournament. At the 2016 World Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament 1 he lost in the quarterfinals to eventual winner J'den Cox. However, due to Cox making the finals, he was able to compete in the Repechage where he won both a bronze medal and the final Olympic qualifying spot in the tournament 4-3. Zbigniew Jan Władysław Antoni Burzyński (31 March 1902 in Zhovkva, pl, Żółkiew near Lwów – 30 December 1971 in Warsaw), was a Polish balloonist and constructor of balloons, pioneer of Polish balloons, who twice won the Gordon Bennett Cup in ballooning, also beat the world record. Zbigniew Bujarski
Zbigniew Bujarski (21 August 1933 – 13 April 2018) was a Polish composer. Bujarski was born on 21 August 1933 and died on 13 April 2018 in Krakow. He was born in Muszyna, Poland about 120 kilometres south-west of Krakow, and very close to the border with what is now Slovakia, and studied composition at the State College of Music in Krakow with Stanisław Wiechowicz. He was awarded an honorary mention at the Young Polish Composers' Competition organized by the Polish Composers' Union in 1961, and three years later won 2nd Prize at the Grzegorz Fitelberg Composers' Competition. Zbigniew Bujak (born 29 November 1954, in Łopuszno) is a former Polish activist and anti-Communist dissident. Biography Bujak was an electrician and foreman in 1980 at the Ursus tractor factory near Warsaw, Poland. He became engaged with trade union activists, and during the strike action, he organized strike committees at the Ursus factory. He became chairman of the Warsaw Solidarity branch in September 1980 and was one of the few Solidarity leaders who escaped arrest in 1981 after martial law in Poland was declared to break Solidarity. He became one of the leaders of the Solidarity's underground movement, organizing underground committees including underground press and radio. He was finally arrested in 1986, becoming the last Solidarity leader to be captured. Biography He is a son of Marian Buczkowski, a pilot at LOT Polish Airlines who died in a plane crash in 1951. He lived next door to a film studio where his neighbor worked as a film extra. With her help at the age of twelve he gained his first appearance as an extra in a film. In 1970 he graduated from the Technical School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Warsaw. Zbigniew Marcin Bródka (; born 8 October 1984) is a Polish speed skater and a 2014 Olympic champion in 1500 metres. He also works as a firefighter in the State Fire Service station in Łowicz. Zbigniew Brym, nom-de-guerre "Zdunin", (born 1919, died December 1, 2006), was a Polish colonel, soldier of the Home Army, participant in the Warsaw Uprising, photographer and publicist. He graduated from the Officer Cadet School for Sappers in Modlin. Brym took part in the Polish September Campaign as part of the Independent Operational Group Polesie under General Franciszek Kleeberg. Zbigniew Boniek (; born 3 March 1956) is a Polish former footballer and manager as well as current UEFA vice-president. A former midfielder, who was also capable of playing mostly as a right winger and second striker, he is considered one of the greatest Polish players of all time, and was selected by Pelé as one of the 100 best living footballers in 2004.
