''Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein'' () also known by the initialism RHTDM is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, starring R. Madhavan, Dia Mirza and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. The film is a remake of the director's own Tamil language, Tamil film ''Minnale (film), Minnale'' (released in the same year), which also starred Madhavan in his reprised role. This is Dia Mirza's debut film as well as Tamil language, Tamil actor, Madhavan's official Bollywood debut film after having an uncredited appearance in a song sequel during the mid-90s. Despite not being a commercial success at the time of release, the film had been considered as a cult classic over the years. The film revolves around the love story of Madhav 'Maddy' Shastri (Madhavan) and Reena Malhotra (Mirza). Gautham Vasudev Menon (born 25 February 1973) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, producer and actor who predominantly works in Tamil cinema, Tamil film industry. Jackky Bhagnani (born 25 December 1984) is an Indian actor, film producer and entrepreneur. Early life Bhagnani was born in Kolkata, West Bengal in India to a Sindhi family. Navin Nischol (18 March 1946 – 19 March 2011) was an Indian actor. He made his debut with the Hindi film ''Sawan Bhadon'' in 1970. In 1996 he worked in Pyar Zindagi Hai along with Rita Bhaduri and Raj Mohammed. The film was shot in Hyderabad.
