Zangezur National Park
Zangezur National Park ( az, Zəngəzur Milli Parkı) is a national park in Azerbaijan. It was established as the Ordubad National Park on an area of in Ordubad District of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on June 16, 2003. On 25 November 2009 it was enlarged to and renamed Zangezur National Park. This park is located in a mountainous area. It is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The temperature changes between -30 °C and -10 °C in January and 10 °C 25 °C in July. The annual precipitation is 300–800 mm. The running water comes from the Gilanchay, Vanadchay, Duylunchay, Aylishchay, Ganzachay, Kotamchay, Kilitchay, and Ordubadchay rivers. Rain and melting snow constitute the main parts of these rivers. Ordubad District
Ordubad District ( az, Ordubad rayonu) is one of the 7 districts of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The district borders the district of Julfa, as well as the Syunik Province of Armenia, and the East Azerbaijan Province of Iran. Its capital and largest city is Ordubad. As at 2020, the district had a population of 50,200.
