Zechariah (Hebrew Prophet)
Zechariah ''Zakariya''' or ''Zakkariya''; el, Ζαχαρίας ''Zakharias''; la, Zacharias. was a person in the Hebrew Bible traditionally considered the author of the Book of Zechariah, the eleventh of the Twelve Minor Prophets. Prophet The Book of Zechariah introduces him as the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo. The Book of Ezra names Zechariah as the son of Iddo, but it is likely that Berechiah was Zechariah's father, and Iddo was his grandfather. His prophetical career probably began in the second year of Darius the Great, king of the Achaemenid Empire (520 BCE). His greatest concern appears to have been with the building of the Second Temple. Sdot Micha Airbase (in Hebrew: ) is an Israeli Air Force (IAF) missile base and depot, whose existence Israel neither confirms nor denies. It is situated in the center of Israel, halfway from Jerusalem to the Mediterranean Sea and extends nearly 13 km from southeast to northwest. The center of the base is located 1.5 km north of Moshav Sdot Micha. Name The secret airbase has been called many names. It is most commonly called by sources as Sdot Micha Airbase due to its proximity to Moshav Sdot Micha, and less commonly Zechariah Airbase (including different spelling), due to its proximity to Moshav Zechariah. or Kanaf 2 Airbase (literally Air Wing 2 Airbase). ''Z for Zachariah'' is a post-apocalyptic science-fiction novel by Robert C. O'Brien that was published posthumously in 1974. The name Robert C. O'Brien was the pen name used by Robert Leslie Conly. After the author's death in March 1973, his wife Sally M. Conly and daughter Jane Leslie Conly completed the work, guided by his notes. Set in the continental territory of the United States, it is written from the first-person perspective as the diary of sixteen-year-old Ann Burden. Burden has survived nuclear war and nerve gas by living in a small valley with a self-contained weather system.
