Zakaria Chichinadze
Zakaria Chichinadze ( ka, ზაქარია ჭიჭინაძე; 1854 – 27 December 1931) was a self-educated Georgian literary critic, bibliophile, historian, and a book publisher. Early years Zakaria Chichinadze was born in Tiflis (Tbilisi), then part of the Russian Empire, as the fifteenth child in the family of Egnate Chichinadze. He received his primary education in Tbilisi, first at the Mtatsminda school, and then at the Irakli school. He was expelled twice due to his poor performance in mathematics. His parents wanted their son to graduate from school and made attempts to send him to other educational institutions, but he, having lost interest in studying, finally abandoned school and began educating himself. He started working at the age of 13, working in a tobacco factory and a hotel and then in a book depository, where he became addicted to reading. The Mtatsminda Pantheon of Writers and Public Figures ( ka, მთაწმინდის მწერალთა და საზოგადო მოღვაწეთა პანთეონი, ''mtats'mindis mts'eralta da sazogado moghvats'eta p'anteoni'') is a necropolis in Tbilisi, Georgia, where some of the most prominent writers, artists, scholars, and national heroes of Georgia are buried. It is located in the churchyard around St David’s Church " Mamadaviti" on the slope of Mount Mtatsminda (Geo. მთაწმინდა, meaning the Holy Mountain) and was officially established in 1929. Louis Blanc
Louis Jean Joseph Charles Blanc (; ; 29 October 1811 – 6 December 1882) was a French politician and historian. A socialist who favored reforms, he called for the creation of cooperatives in order to guarantee employment for the urban poor. Although Blanc's ideas of the workers' cooperatives were never realized, his political and social ideas greatly contributed to the development of socialism in France. He wanted the government to encourage co-operatives and replace capitalist enterprises. These co-operatives were to be associations of people who produced together and divided the profit accordingly. Following the Revolution of 1848, Blanc became a member of the provisional government and began advocating for cooperatives which would be initially aided by the government but ultimately controlled by the workers themselves.
