Zak Evans (born 26 March 2000) is an Australian cricketer. He made his Twenty20 debut on 27 January 2020, for the Melbourne Renegades in the 2019β20 Big Bash League season. Prior to his T20 debut, he was named in Australia's squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Daly Cherry-Evans (born 20 February 1989) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the NRL and Australia at international level. He captains Manly and won the 2011 NRL Grand Final with the Sea Eagles. He captains Queensland at State of Origin level and has played for Prime Ministers XIII. 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup
The 2018 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in New Zealand from 13 January to 3 February 2018. It was the twelfth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in New Zealand (after the 2002 and 2010 events). New Zealand was the first country to host the event three times. The opening ceremony took place on 7 January 2018. The West Indies were the defending champions. However, they failed to defend their title, after losing their first two group fixtures. The 2021 Marsh One-Day Cup was the 52nd season of the official List A domestic cricket competition being played in Australia. On 26 June 2020, Cricket Australia confirmed all the squads for the 2020β21 domestic cricket season. Western Australia were the defending champions. On 16 December 2020, Cricket Australia confirmed the schedule of the tournament, with the final scheduled to be played on 30 April 2021, the latest finish to a domestic cricket season in Australia. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. 2019β20 Big Bash League Season
The 2019β20 Big Bash League season or BBL, 09 was the ninth season of the Big Bash League, the professional men's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia. The tournament started on 17 December 2019 and concluded on 8 February 2020. The length of the season was shortened compared to that from the last year, while the number of matches was increased from 59 to 61 from the previous season. The knock-outs were revamped into a play-off system, with the top two teams in the league getting a second chance to make it to the final even if they lost the first match in the play-offs. The play-off matches were given unique monikers, namely ''The Eliminator'', ''The Qualifier'', ''The Knock-Out'', ''The Challenger'' followed by ''The Final''. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out").
