Zahra Saei
Zahra Saei ( fa, زهرا ساعی; born 1980) is an Iranian politician, researcher and academic. Early life and education Zahra Saei was born in Maralan district in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan. Her father was a member of Revolutionary Guards and served in the Ashura Corps during the Iran-Iraq war. She is a member of the Moderation and Development Party since 2001, and a Ph.D. candidate in Political geography at the Kharazmi University. From 20 September 2013 to 1 November 2015, she served as the Advisor to the Governor of Tehran Province and & Director of the Women and Family in the province under Hossein Hashemi. She has been a researcher at the Foreign Policy Research Department of Center for Strategic Research and Women's studies center of University of Tehran. Islamic Consultative Assembly
The Islamic Consultative Assembly ( fa, مجلس شورای اسلامی, Majles-e Showrā-ye Eslāmī), also called the Iranian Parliament, the Iranian Majles (Arabicised spelling Majlis) or ICA, is the national legislative body of Iran. The Parliament currently consists of 290 representatives, an increase from the previous 272 seats since the 18 February 2000 election. Seyyed Hossein Hashemi ( fa, سید حسین هاشمی born 7 July 1953, Mianeh, East Azerbaijan) is an Iranian politician who served as Governor of Tehran Province from September 8, 2013 to September 24, 2017. The East-Azerbaijan Provincial Palace ( fa, کاخ استانداری آذربایجان شرقی) is the main office for Iran's East-Azerbaijan provincial governor in downtown Tabriz. The history of the palace goes back to the Safavid and Zand dynasties, when it was named ''Aali Qapou''. The original construction of the palace was supervised by Najaf Qoli Khan for the Safavid kings, when Tabriz was the capital of Iran. During the Qajar era, Aali Qapu served as the residence for the crown prince of Iran. It was reconstructed and repaired under Naser al-Din Shah, during which its name was changed to ''Shams ol-Emareh''. The two-round system (TRS), also known as runoff voting, second ballot, or ballotage, is a voting method used to elect a single candidate, where voters cast a single vote for their preferred candidate. The Council for Coordinating the Reforms Front or the Reformist Front Coordination Council ( fa, شورای هماهنگی جبهه اصلاحات) is the umbrella organization, coalition and council of main political groups within the Iranian reform movement. 2016 Iranian Legislative Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Iran on 26 February 2016 to elect members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly for all seats in the 10th parliament in the Islamic Republic era and the 34th since the Persian Constitutional Revolution. A second round was held on 29 April 2016 for some constituencies where candidates failed to obtain the required minimum 25 percent of votes cast. The elected MPs served from 28 May 2016 to 27 May 2020. The election was held as part of a general election which also elected members of the Assembly of Experts.
