Kakanj
Kakanj ( sr-cyrl, Какањ) is a town and municipality located in Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013, the town has a population of 11,796 inhabitants, with 38,937 inhabitants in the municipality. It is situated in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, north of Visoko and southeast of Zenica. It was built along the slopes of wide hills on either side of the Zgošća river. History Neolithic artifacts have been found in Obre, a nearby village. Thus, whole culture that covered central Bosnian river basins was named Kakanj culture. Settlements in the region are very ancient. They are claimed to be historical landmarks of the early Bosnian state. Kraljeva Sutjeska, a Franciscan monastery, is of particular historical note. Kladanj ( sr-cyrl, Кладањ) is a town and municipality located in Tuzla Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kladanj is located on road from Tuzla to Sarajevo along the river Drinjača, at the base of Konjuh (mountain), Konjuh mountain. History The first mention of the town of Kladanj dates back to 1138. The first record of Kladanj in Turkish sources is from 1469, referring to the market place Četvrtkovište where on Thursdays big fairs were held. Kotor Varoš ( sr-cyrl, Котор Варош) is a town and municipality located in north-western Republika Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Travnik is a town and a municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the administrative center of Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zagradje ( Montenegrin: Заграђе) is a village in the municipality of Bar, south Montenegro, located next to Sutomore. It is renowned for its air quality and beaches. The village itself is on a hill to the west of Sutomore. A small single-track road leads up the hill. The mean house height in the area is around 100m and the highest house on the eastern slope of the hill is 184m above sea level (GPS data).
