Theodoros Zagorakis ( el, Θεόδωρος Ζαγοράκης ; born 27 October 1971) is a Greek politician and former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He was the Captain (association football), captain of Greece national football team, Greece that won UEFA Euro 2004, and was also president of PAOK FC, PAOK. He was named the Greek Male Athlete of the Year in 2004. He was elected as a Greek MEP at the 2014 European Parliament election in Greece, May 2014 European Parliament election. He was also the president of the Hellenic Football Federation, HFF from March to September 2021. Club career Kavala Zagorakis was a central midfielder who could also play on the right side of midfield. Zisis Vryzas
Zisis Vryzas ( el, Ζήσης Βρύζας; born 9 November 1973) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a forward for various teams in Greece and abroad, as well as for the Greece national football team, when they won the Euro 2004. After his retirement, he worked for PAOK as technical director, and for a brief period, took up the position of president, following Theodoros Zagorakis' resignation. On 16 August 2010, Vryzas became the assistant coach of the Greece national team. 2000 Football League Cup Final
The 2000 Football League Cup Final was played between Leicester City, in their third final appearance in four years, and First Division side Tranmere Rovers at Wembley Stadium on 27 February 2000. It was the 34th and last League Cup Final to be played at the original Wembley Stadium. Leicester won 2–1 to become the last team to win the League Cup at the old Wembley. 1999 Football League Cup Final
The 1999 Football League Cup Final was played between Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City, at Wembley on Sunday, 21 March 1999. Tottenham won the game, and their third League Cup, with an injury-time diving header from Allan Nielsen after a cross from the right from Steffen Iversen had been blocked by goalkeeper Kasey Keller. Justin Edinburgh became the last player to be sent off at the old Wembley, after angrily waving his arm towards Robbie Savage following a particularly tough Savage challenge.
