Zafir Hadžimanov
Zafir Hadžimanov ( Macedonian: Зафир Хаџиманов; 25 December 1943 – 27 March 2021) was a Macedonian and Serbian singer, composer and actor who spent most of his adult life in Belgrade. Biography He was married to singer and actress Senka Veletanlić, with whom he has a son, Vasil Hadžimanov, a widely known jazz musician. Kavadarci
Kavadarci ( mk, Кавадарци ) is a town in the Tikveš region of North Macedonia. In the heart of North Macedonia's wine country, it is home to the largest winery in Southeast Europe, named after the Tikveš plain. The town of Kavadarci is the seat of Kavadarci Municipality. Situated near Kavadarci is North Macedonia's largest artificial lake, Lake Tikveš. History Classical period In the Tikveš region around Kavadarci, many artefacts and structures have been discovered dating back to prehistoric times. Macedonians of Serbia are an officially recognized ethnic minority in Serbia. History The first session of the Anti-fascist Assembly for the National Liberation of Macedonia (ASNOM) was held on 2 August 1944, the anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising, at Prohor Pčinjski Monastery in the Bulgarian occupation zone of Yugoslavia, what is today southern Serbia, just north of the Macedonian border. The Assembly declared Macedonia the nation-state of Macedonians within Yugoslavia. The monastery which is in the region of Macedonia, was ceded after WWII to SR Macedonia, but was transferred to SR Serbia in 1947.
