Zafar Ahmad Nizami
Zafar Ahmad Nizami (25 November 1939 — 23 April 2009) was an Indian author, poet and writer. He served the Jamia Millia Islamia as Professor of Political Science for about 30 years and authored books like ''Memarān-e-Jamia'', ''Hindustān ke chand Siyasi Rahnuma'', ''Maulana Azad Ki Kahani'' and ''Tarīkh-e-Hind: Ahd-e-Jadeed''. Biography Nizami was born on 25 November 1933 in Pratapgarh, Rajasthan. He pursued M.A degrees in English (1959) and Political Science (1961) from Vikram University, Ujjain.Azadi-e-Hind Ki Jaddojahd Mai Musalmano Ka Kirdar (vol 1) He taught in the colleges of Jaora, Ratlam, Sehore and Datia as a lecturer and then moved to Jamia Millia Islamia where he taught in the department of Political Science as a professor. He later became its head professor. He also served Institute of Objective Studies, New Delhi as director. He retired from the Jamia Millia Islamia in 2001. Pratapgarh, is a town in Rajasthan, India. It is the district headquarters of Pratapgarh district, Rajasthan, Pratapgarh district the newest district of Rajasthan. Famous for its Thewa art, the city is surrounded by tribal villages. It is also famous for its edible jiralun and hing. History Maharana Kumbha ruled Chittorgarh in the 14th century. Hakim Ajmal Khan
Mohammad Ajmal Khan (11 February 1868 – 29 December 1927), better known as Hakim Ajmal Khan, was a physician in Delhi, India, and one of the founders of the Jamia Millia Islamia University. He also founded another institution, Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College, better known as Tibbia College, situated in Karol Bagh, Delhi. He was the only muslim to chair a session of the Hindu Mahasabha. Islam is India's second-largest religion, with 14.2% of the country's population, approximately 172.2 million people identifying as adherents of Islam in 2011 Census. Shyam Benegal
Shyam Benegal (born 14 December 1934) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker. Often regarded as the pioneer of parallel cinema, he is widely considered as one of the greatest filmmakers post 1970s. He has received several accolades, including eighteen National Film Awards, a Filmfare Award and a Nandi Award. In 2005, he was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's highest award in the field of cinema. Tapan Kumar Pradhan (born 1972) is an Indian poet, writer and translator from Odisha. He is best known for his poem collection "Kalahandi" which was awarded second place in Sahitya Akademi's Golden Jubilee ''Indian Literature'' Translation Prize for Poetry in 2007.
