Zach Stortini
Zachery Stortini (born September 11, 1985) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey Winger (ice hockey), right winger and current assistant coach with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Edmonton Oilers and Nashville Predators. Stortini was chosen in the third round, 94th overall, by the Oilers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He plays a physical game and is known as an enforcer (ice hockey), enforcer. Playing career Stortini is the former captain of the Sudbury Wolves, where he spent his entire Ontario Hockey League (OHL) career. He made his professional debut in 2003–04 AHL season, 2004 with the Toronto Roadrunners of the American Hockey League (AHL), playing in two games. After another year with Sudbury, Stortini graduated full-time joining the Iowa Stars of the AHL. Stortini scored the first goal in Iowa Stars franchise history. Oklahoma City Barons
The Oklahoma City Barons were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). The team's first season was 2010–11 AHL season, 2010–11. They played their home games at the Cox Convention Center, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. History On February 9, 2010, the American Hockey League Board of Governors approved of the relocation of the Oilers' inactive AHL franchise to Oklahoma City, after a five-year dormancy. The franchise had gone through six incarnations, the first of which was the Nova Scotia Oilers and most recently the Edmonton Road Runners, who ceased play in 2005. The Barons were named through a fan contest. Before the Barons, the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City had also been the home to former Central Hockey League franchises, the Oklahoma City Stars (ice hockey), Oklahoma City Stars and the Oklahoma City Blazers (1992–2009), Oklahoma City Blazers.
