Zach Maynard
Zachary Desmond Maynard (born July 29, 1989) is a former American football quarterback who played college football for the California Golden Bears and Buffalo Bulls. He is the older half-brother of current Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen. Early years Maynard attended Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he led his team to a Metro League title as a senior in 2007. He committed to Buffalo to play for coach Turner Gill. College career Buffalo Maynard began his college career as the backup quarterback to Drew Willy, and saw limited action during the Bulls 2008 season, culminating with the team's 2008 MAC championship, and an appearance in the 2009 International Bowl. For the 2009 season, Maynard took over for Willy as the team's starting quarterback and led the Bulls to a 5–7 record. The 2008 Buffalo Bulls football team represented the University at Buffalo in the 2008 NCAA Division I FBS football season. 2008 was a season of firsts for the Bulls. With a 40–34 double overtime win over Bowling Green on November 21, the Bulls won the MAC East division and gained a berth to the MAC Championship for the first time. The Washington Huskies football team represents the University of Washington in college football. Washington competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. The 2012 California Golden Bears football team represented University of California, Berkeley in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS college football season. The Bears were led by eleventh-year head coach Jeff Tedford and played their home games at Memorial Stadium after having played at home the previous season at AT&T Park due to reconstruction on Memorial Stadium. They were members of the North Division of the Pac-12 Conference. Coming off a 7–5 previous season, the Bears fell to 3–9 (2–7 in the Pac-12), the second losing season in three years and the worst of the Tedford era. The 2010 California Golden Bears football team represented the University of California, Berkeley in NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) competition in the 2010 season. The Golden Bears were led by ninth-year head coach Jeff Tedford.
