Zac Alexander
Zac Alexander (born 11 February 1989) is a professional squash (sport), squash player who represented Australia. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 36 in September 2012 and has won a total of 26 PSA titles. Zac won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast teamed with David Palmer (squash player), David Palmer defeating Daryl Selby and Adrian Waller of England (11–9, 3-11, 11-6). In doubles Zac also won a Silver Medal at the World Doubles in Darwin in 2016 and a Gold Medal at the Malaysian Open Doubles Championships later the same year. This has been a very successful period for Zac who made the Australian doubles team for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow but was forced to leave the games early. 2017 Men's World Team Squash Championships
The 2017 Men's World Team Squash Championships was the men's edition of the 2017, which serves as the world team championship for squash players. The event was held in Marseille, France, from November 26 to December 3, 2017. The tournament is organized by the World Squash Federation and the French Squash Federation. The Egyptian team won their fourth World Team Championships after beating England in the final. Since there was no 3rd-place match, Hong Kong and Australia both shared the bronze medal. David Palmer (squash Player)
David Troy Palmer (born 28 June 1976 in Lithgow, New South Wales) is a retired professional squash player from Australia. He won the Super Series finals in 2002, the World Open in 2002 and 2006; the British Open in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2008; and the Australian Open in 2008. He attained World No. 1 ranking in September 2001 and again (for one month) in February 2006. The 2014 Commonwealth Games ( gd, Geamannan a' Cho-fhlaitheis 2014), officially known as the XX Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Glasgow 2014, ( sco, Glesca 2014 or Glesga 2014; gd, Glaschu 2014), was an international multi-sport event celebrated in the tradition of the Commonwealth Games as governed by the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF). Adrian Waller
Adrian Waller (born 26 December 1989 in Enfield) is a professional squash player who represents England. Career Waller won British Junior National titles at various age categories before joining the PSA Tour. In 2017, he was part of the England team that won the silver medal at the World Team Championships in Marseille and repeated the success two years later at the 2019 Championships. In 2018, he won a silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the men's doubles with Daryl Selby. During the 2019-20 season he won the Life Time Chicago Open. In November 2019, he hit a career best world ranking (at the time) of 17. In 2021, he finished runner up to Joel Makin at the British National Squash Championships. Daryl Selby (born 3 November 1982 in Harlow) is a former professional squash player who represented England. He reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 9 in April 2010. His sister is professional squash player Lauren Selby. He attended Brentwood School, Essex as his secondary school between 1994 and 2001. 2018 Commonwealth Games
The 2018 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXI Commonwealth Games and also known as Gold Coast 2018, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth that were held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, between 4 and 15 April 2018. It was the fifth time Australia had hosted the Commonwealth Games and the first time a major multi-sport had an equal number of events for male and female athletes. 4,426 athletes including 300 para-athletes from 71 Commonwealth Games Associations took part in the event.
